When I got into the elevator I sorta felt like crying. I just felt so empty and cold. Really cold. And I couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen.
I looked at the time on my phone. I had about 10 minutes to clock back in. My phone wouldn't even be able to last that long because it was at 5% and was 99% sure I had left my charger at home so I would have to deal with no phone for the next 7 hours when I would reach home.
Ooof. Today's going to be a long day.
