"thank you for the dinner president park by the way, and thank you for the flowers as well. i really like daisies." hari thanked him with her soft smile stretching her glossy lips, bringing the bouquet of daisies that sunghoon surprised her with to her nose and letting their refreshing scent invade her nostrils and clutching it tightly near her chest.

"it's nothing, and you don't have to be so formal, just call me sunghoon. after all, we're having a baby together, and you weren't so formal the day we met." her cheeks turned into a crimson tint at the mention of the night of their first encounter, remembering how embarrassingly bold she acted which is quite unlike her usual self. she isn't the type to sleep with strangers and have no strings attached, since not only does it make you end up in her exact situation, but it also doesn't help with building an actual relationship.

"well you weren't my boss when we first met, and right now we aren't that close for me to call you by your first name." sunghoon won't lie by saying he didn't feel disappointed at her words since he already hated being called so formally on its own, but her setting such wall between them only makes him more frustrated than he already is. he really doesn't want to rush things and take it at her own pace, but the stress of his wedding only getting closer doesn't exactly help him doing as he planned.

he has to find a way to bring up the idea of them getting married soon, because he isn't just gonna sit there and watch his chances with her crumble away.

"you know, i actually don't like when people i'm close to call me mr.park or such because it sets a boundary between us." hari turned her head towards him only for her to meet eyes with his sharp, boba, and dreamy ones, her irises taking in his unreal visuals under the dim lights of the night. his soft features were caressed by the light that emphasized the beauty marks scattered across his glassy skin.

"are you saying.. you don't want to set a boundary between us?" the boy swore he was fighting gods to not cup her face and kiss right there and then when she looked up at him with doe, warm and slightly bewildered eyes, her full lips gently curved downwards into a pout while the pink powder on her cheeks only colored itself further.

if only he could bring himself to tell her how he feels, the situation would be different right now.

the raven licked his chapped lips as he tore away his gaze from what he longed for the most and shook his head as a sign to forget it making her knit her brows. "where are you planning to stay after the baby's born? are you gonna move in or?" the confusion on her face only spread further at a question with such an obvious answer, considering it would be weird for her to move into his place when he'll be married and living with the lucky girl that's engaged to him.

she honestly wishes this baby could be born in better circumstances, where she's already married or in a long term relationship with the father and she can actually provide financially for everything she needs. the current situation isn't one of the best, since she'll probably end up taking care of this child alone due to him being busy with his wife and eventually a real family so he'll just provide for her economically and that's it. don't get her wrong, she isn't accusing him of not taking responsibility for this anymore or being absent, she is simply stating the obvious that will eventually happen.

"i mean, wouldn't it be a bit odd for me to move into your house when you already live with your wife?" right, his wife. sunghoon nodded his head at the words that slipped past her mouth, lowering his gaze to the ground below his feet as they walked in the awkward silence which made hoon drown in his thoughts and that was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

the heir glanced back and forth between her and the concrete ground as he tried to gather the courage to properly ask her out and make it clear that even though he's getting married, he doesn't feel any kind of interest for her and he is really willing to give up his engagement just for her.

the taller suddenly halted on his steps which made her abruptly stop walking as well, his body now shifted towards her direction as he took deep, shaky breath before gazing into her chocolate, galaxy-filled eyes. "do you perhaps want to date.. with marriage in mind?"

 with marriage in mind?"
