Morning sunlight, peaked through the sheer purple and white window curtains that blew with the breeze from the ceiling top fan above the canopy bed that Olivia slept in. Tossing around, her hands unconsciously went to wrap around her bed companion only to find an empty, cold spot.

Patting her hands against the area that Spencer occupied all night, Olivia yawned as her drowniess overtook her facial expression. Groaning, she pulled the lilac comforter off her body, being hit by a gust of cold morning air. Dressing in a nighttime outfit of thin, satin material shorts and tank top, she had little armor from the breeze that blew from the fan she left on all night to fight the L.A heat.

Stretching her arms as she sat on the edge of the bed, her nostril flared as she yawned once more, still forcing her body to wake up physically wakeup. Intrigued by a smell of breakfast flying around the room, Olivia eyed the bedroom door, which stood cracked open.

Strolling over to the doorway, Olivia listened to voices downstairs that echoed through from the stairwell and into the hallways. Noting her daughter's laughter and an absence of Spencer's voice, Olivia heard the familiar tone of her daughter's godmother. Lifting a large smile onto her face, Olivia pushed her head back into her bedroom, closing the door behind her.

Knowing her daughter was in good hands, Olivia focused on getting her day started. Performing her entire morning routine, she showered, brushed her teeth, and did her facial routine. Then she headed over to the adjoining, walk-in closet where her clothes for the next few weeks dangled from hangers. Choosing an outfit that felt was most appropriate for the girl's day out she, her daughter, and best friend planned to have; Olivia put her clothes on.

Heading downstairs, Olivia smiled, watching her best friend sitting in the living room couch, doing her daughter's hair. Usually, Olivia didn't like anyone in Gracianna's hair because of her daughter's particular hair type needing certain care. But Simone was an exception. As one of Olivia's longtime friends, Simone helped care for her little girl from a young age, sometimes babysitting when the time arose. So, dressing Cici and doing her hair was something that Simone did multiple times in  the past. Caring for her goddaughter as if Gracianna was her own blood, Simone never let the little leave the house looking anything less near perfection.

"Morning, mommy." Cici beamed from her sat on the floor, where she sat postured between Simone's legs to get her hair done.

"Morning, sleeping beauty." Simone greeted, continuing to brush Cici's hair into prep for a ponytail, as her best friend, Olivia, approached them.

"Hey, baby." Liv replied, leaning down to kiss her daughter's cheek, "Thanks for getting her ready, Si." Olivia added, embracing Simone as she joined her on the couch.

"Don't think anything of it," Simone responded contently, "I couldn't let mini you ran around looking like a Cachia pet." She laughed, finishing the last ponytail. "All done, Cici."

Bouncing onto her feet, Gracianna pivoted around to show off her finished look. "Do you like my near jumper, Mommy? Aunt Moonie bought it for me! It's pastel!" She squealed, spinning around.

"You look pretty, baby," Olivia snickered at her daughter's excitement. "Why don't you go grab your socks and shoes so we can head out to our nail appointment?"

"Ok!" Gracianna nodded enthusiastically before sprinting off upstairs.

Simone and Olivia laughed at little girl who never failed to put a smile on their faces before focusing on one another.

"So what's up? I'd figured you'd be asking me to babysit so you and mr.man could have some play time of your own today," Simone inquired, sparking a nudge from Olivia who flushed with embarrassment.
