Dear reader,

So we've finally come to the end of our journey with Felix and Delilah- and what a fucking journey it's been.

When I first started writing this book it was sort of a medium to replay my LOVE for Emeralds movie (and Jacob, obvs) but as it's progressed it's become so much more to me. I found myself writing about something deeper than passion or love, but connection and loss. It's been very healing for me to be able to write a story that shows two people travel through the turmoil of life and come out on the other side. There's so much sadness and confusion in love, both platonic and romantic, and I don't think any amount of writing will ever be able to fully unpack it. But in stories like this, and so many others across this platform, I hope you find comfort like I have.

Although this is a made up tale, I think some of the lessons within it are valuable and one's I have yet to properly learn myself. Like Delilah said, there is a reason and a light for everyone out there- whether it comes in the form of a person, a book, a movie, a character or anything else. We can all find our angel in hell.

With all my love x
