Matt sat silently, leaning against the headboard of the hotel bed, only his legs covered by the blankets. He turned his head to the left, looking down at the sleeping form of Nick, and couldn't suppress the urge to roll his eyes when he discovered his brother drooling onto the pillow.

Matt laid his hand softly against Nick's cheek and smiled slightly. It had been a long day, and Matt was not surprised that Nick passed out immediately, well, almost immediately.

Matt was feeling unnaturally soft and fluffy that day, and had made sure Nick knew what he was feeling when he cuddled him that night. It had been perfect, in Matt's mind, and he hoped Nick thought so too.

Matt was lost in his own thoughts until he felt a soft hand tighten around his wrist. "Matty.." Nick whispered gently. "Get some sleep, we have to be up soon." Nick was right, Matt thought. It was going to be 2:00 am and they had to be up at 8:00am for another full day.

Matt, still feeling unnaturally fuzzie inside, smiled down at Nick. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on Nick's cheek. "I love you." Matt said barely above a whisper. Nick smiled tiredly, "I love you too Matty, now come lay with me."

Matt did as he was told and got fully underneath the covers to lay next to Nick. His triplet immediately curled into Matt's side and put his face between Matt's neck and shoulder blade. Matt could feel his brother's small smile against the fabric of his t-shirt.

Matt was once again lost in his own thoughts, thinking, what did he do to deserve such a gift? What did he do that God decided to bless him with something so special, as his beautiful triplet. It wasn't often Matt got so worked up, but he was utterly surprised when he felt a tear fall from his eye, falling fast towards where his brother's face was.

Matt tried to wipe the tear away before it hit his brother's pale skin but he wasn't fast enough. Nick flinched lightly then looked up toward his triplet.

"Matty? What's wrong, are you alright?" Nick asked with a frown on his pouting lips. Though Matt was pretty sure his eyes were slightly puffy and red, he smiled at his love. "Nick, I just want you to listen for a minute to me okay?" Nick was hesitant for a moment, worried, but then nodded at Matt.

Matt thought to himself for a moment, thinking about what he wanted to say to Nick, to let him know exactly what he meant to him, because he never told him enough, and even if he told him everyday, it still wouldn't be enough.

"Nick.. I .. um.. I just." Matt stopped for a moment and took a deep breath. "I love you Nick, more than anything in this entire world. You're my everything, you're all that I need. I could live without our friends and family, all the fans, everything, but not you. I could never live without you. You're my other half, you have half my soul, half my heart." Matt stopped for a moment and took another breath.

"Did I ever tell you the day I realized that I loved you more than anything? Well, I think I always had, but when I first really realized it?" Matt asked his triplet. Nick, with tears sparkling in his eyes softly shook his head.

"We were 12, and we were spending the day at the beach. We were sitting on the sand just close enough to the water for it to touch our feet. You were just sitting there, looking adorable, with a little smile on your lips. You turned towards me and you said that we were like wolves, and then I asked you how."

Matt looked over at Nick staring straight into his piercing blue eyes. "You said because wolves only have one mate (platonically)  in their entire lives, so we must be like wolves, because we'll be together forever." Matt reached a hand out towards Nick to dry the tears that were steadily falling from his eyes.

"We will be together forever Matt,  just you and me." Nick expressed softly, Matt smiled and leaned his forehead against Nick's. The older smiled gently and kissed the tip of Matts nose sweetly, his heart bursting with love for his younger triplet, he pulled back slowly and said, "Just like wolves."
