Leilani's POV

Wait the rogue king isn't after me? What does he want then? Also Ivy looks about Nevel's age so how is she so smart? I really need to speak to dad about all this.

"Are you guys okay, you seem worried." Ivy said looking at us. "We're fine. It's nothing you should worry about little Ariel." Cole said in his normal cheerful voice.

"How about you two watch some television and we'll be right back." Alex said getting up and going upstairs. We followed. Alex led us to his dad's office and walked in.

"Knock next time please, Alexander." Calvin said not looking up. "Still in the dog house I see." Alex muttered. "Look dad I'm sorry for going against your orders."Alex apologized.

"I'm really disappointed in you." Calvin said. "And you have every right to be but there's something else about the rogue king." Alex said getting Calvin's attention.

"What about him?" Calvin asked. "Well, Ivy and Nevel got a book from the library and-"

"Little Ivy?" Calvin asked. "Yes, but not the point. " Cole responded. "Well, have a seat and tell me about it." Calvin said.
"Uncle, can you please tell him to stop giving me the cold shoulder. "Alex pleaded.

"You know him, Alex. He can't stay mad at you too long. Now tell us what you know." Dean said. Alex nodded and told them everything Ivy told us. They listened patiently until Alex finished.

"Okay, according to what you just said, his descendants are attacking this pack not because of Lani. What else could they want from us?" Debbie asked.

"The rogue said we have something that belongs to him. Do you know if your father ever provoked a rogue?" Cole asked Calvin. "No. He wasn't a man who attacked if not provoked first." Calvin responded.

"Well he wants something and won't stop until he gets it." Alan said. "I don't know what it might be. If he stops the threats and says what it is he lost on this pack. I would gladly return it." Calvin said.

"L.V." Bertha muttered quietly. "Is something wrong Bertha?" Debbie asked. Bertha looked at the ground. "Mum, what's wrong?" Shaun asked.

"The rogue king didn't lose something on this pack...it was someone. "She whispered.

"What do you mean? "Dean asked. "When Shaun first arrived...the initials L.V was scribbled on his shirt. I thought nothing of it at the time." Bertha said not looking up from the ground.

But wait, that would mean...

"Shaun is his descendant?" Cole asked. "Possibly his grandson." Bertha mumbled. "That'll explain the fur." Alex muttered. "Well this complicates things." Calvin stated.

"Not really. We can give him what he wants. "Shaun said finally speaking up.
"No." Bertha and Calvin responded. "But you just said-"

"I don't care about what I said. That was before i knew he wanted you. He can declare war for all I care. You. Aren't. Leaving. "Calvin growled.

"How self absorbed is he to scribble his initials on his son's clothing. "Alan muttered not showing any emotion. I was just too shocked to speak.

"Now that I think of it...I remember someone calling me Lorenzo when I was a kid." Shaun mumbled. "What else do you remember? "Bertha asked.

"Running with my mother and brother. We were separated, but I'm really sure she called me Shaun." He said.

"But uncle...if this is true, maybe I can reason with them. "Shaun said. "No." Kelly growled. "Kels, he's targeting you because he wants something here. If I really am the one then I'm willing to go." Shaun said.
