Jake throws himself into Sean's arms, happy and ecstatic. The Music club had just won another competition, and jeez! Wow it had felt good!
"You seem very happy," Sean says with a smile on his face. He buries his head in the crook of Jake's neck for a few moments before looking Jake in the eye. "Your dad came this time, correct?"
"Yeah, my dad was here," Jake says with a smile.
Sean kisses Jake's forehead, "Good. Now, I think Hailey's dad said something about going to get ice cream," Sean grins as he sees Jake's face light up even more.
"Bitch what are we waiting for? Ice cream, the love of my life! It's calling my name!" Jake dramatically flops over in Sean's arm, which Sean just laughs at.
"Wait- I thought I was the love your life?" Sean gives Jake a stare.
"You and ice cream both." Jake nods a little as he speaks.
Sean chuckles and plants a kiss on Jake's cheek, which Jake frowns at.
"Don't be wimpy," He says, moving and kissing Sean right on the lips. Sean doesn't object, he kisses back with a smile.
"I love you," Sean whispers in Jake's ear. "Now, I believe you said you were craving some very delicious ice cream, good sir."
Jake backs up a little and jumps, "the ice cream calls my name!"
Hailey poked Jake in the back and said, "Then let's go, gaybo,"
Jake hasn't realized the rest of the club now had shown up, Sean had and just ignored them.
"Ugh that was gross," Zander mutters, crossing his arms.
Luke just shakes his head and laughs a little.
"You can't talk, you're worse," Millie points out, repeatedly jabbing Zander in the arm with one of those finger pointers that kindergarten and preK teachers use to point at stuff on the board. Where did she even get that from-?
"I'm thirsty, let's go," Hailey says, grabbing both Zander and Jake by their ears. Jake seems unphased, but Zander squirms and shouts profanities, trying to get away.
"HAILEY-" he yells. Hailey just pulls harder, practically walking the two out of the building like dogs on a leash. Luke, Millie, and Sean all laugh a little (Millie is more so.. alot) and follow behind, Sean giving high fives to the two of them.
...
Jake scarfs down his large bowl of peach and strawberry ice-cream, apparently not getting a brain freeze, much to Millie's surprise.
Zander was chilling with Luke, the two sipping from a vanilla milkshake. Sean sat with a small cone of chocolate and vanilla swirl ice-cream, but it was almost entirely forgotten at the moment as he watched Jake.
Hailey was deep in conversation with her dad, occasionally taking bites of her small banana split.
"Jake slow down you'll get a freeze or something," Sean mutters, his hand under the table grasped at Jake's, entertwining their fingers. He used his other hand to eat his ice-cream before it melts.
