Governor Noona's Office.

Governor Noona was reading various reports on the progress of Trantor's infrastructure when the communication panel on his desk beeped. Governor Noona noticed that someone from Trantor Fleet Command had requested to speak with her.

"Noona here, how can I help you?" Governor Noona said this after opening a communication line with Trantor Fleet Command.

Governor Noona used the now-standard Myto Empire communication phrase, "How can I help you?" Moff Trevat emphasized this to stress that Myto Empire officials serve the people. Governor Noona occasionally questioned Moff Trevat's heavy emphasis on this point.

"This is Captain Hreni from Trantor Fleet Command. I bring important news for you, Governor," said a captain from Tranfor Fleet Command, Captain Hreni.

"Oh, what is it?" asked Governor Noona.

"We have detected gravimetric anomalies from a number of sensors located approximately 325 light years from Trantor, near the FK76 star system." Captain Hreni said.

"Is that the Grenda Union?" asked Governor Noona with her heart sinking.

"We believe there is an 80% chance that it is the Grenda Union." Unfortunately, we do not have a second sensor reading to determine their vector. But we suspect there are up to 100 Grenda Union ships passing through the sensor range." Captain Hreni said.

"If they are heading straight for Trantor, how long will it take them to arrive?" asked Governor Noona.

"With the speed of the Grenda Union ships that we know of, their ETA is about 20 hours, Governor." Captain Hreni said.

"Send an alert to all our military assets. Order them to go on general alert in 17 hours. Let's all crew rest first." Governor Noona ordered.

"Yes, governor," Captain Hreni said.

"Don't forget to inform Jakarta about this." Governor Noona spoke.

"Yes, governor. We will notify Fleet Central in Elysia immediately." Captain Hreni said.

"Oh, yes. How many of our starships are undergoing repairs? Is it time for the repaired starships to be ready and participate in the defense of Trantor?" asked Governor Noona.

"There are only 4 ships undergoing minor repairs, and 11 other ships are in the resupply process. They should be ready within 12 hours." Captain Hreni said.

"Very good. Ensure that we strengthen our defenses facing their vector of arrival with static defenses, such as automated defense stations or mine fields," said Governor Noona.

"We'll move some automated defense stations to that location. Also, we will deploy all the space mines we have there." Captain Hreni said.

"Alright. We'll discuss this at the meeting I'm holding in two hours. Do you have enough time to get down to New York?" Asked Governor Noona.

"Enough, governor. I will go to the meeting myself," said Captain Hreni.

"Alright, what we can do right now, we've done. We'll discuss the rest in the meeting," said Governor Noona.

"Alright, governor. I request permission to close the connection. Good day, Governor." Captain Hreni said this while closing the connection with Governor Noona.
Governor Noona immediately went out of the room to discuss this with her staff, including her strategic planning staff.
