Astro walked down the hallway, it was surprisingly quiet but yet again it was almost bedtime. Astro sighed and continued on, hugging himself with his second pair of arms. He walked Goob and Shrimpo hugging, surprisingly Shrimpo looked like he was enjoying it. Astro didn't pay any mind to them though, he had a goal for tonight.

It had been a while since he's stargazed and he was in the mood for it. He passed by several other toons, all doing their own little thing. Rodger, who was arguing with Toodles, Poppy and Boxton were reading something together, Finn was writing something while blushing, and Teagan and Tisha were obviously flirting.

It made Astro smile, seeing all of his friends like that. He continued to walk, he heard Vee call his name but he ignored her. Not wanting to deal with her pestering right now, he couldn't wait till bedtime.

He started to read a book, once in a while eyeing the clock. He could still hear the other toons running around like wild animals, sure, it was noisy but it still made Astro feel complete.

Eventually he heard everyone quiet down, he peaked through his door and watched the lights go off. He smiled and began grabbing pillows and an extra blanket. He knew he would be outside for awhile so he'd better enjoy it, he was about to leave his room before he remembered he didn't have his book. He grabbed it and was on his way

He was about to set everything on the ground before noticing a colorful flower in the grass, he slowly approached it and realized it was Dandy. Dandy was laying on his back staring at the stars without any blanket or protection, next to him was Pebble, on a fancy dog bed.

Astro crooked his head in surprise, Dandy would always talk about how much he hated night-time, it was strange to see him out here. He watched Dandy from afar, admiring and soaking in this moment.

Dandy was basically shining, his colorful petals glistening in the moon light. He looked so beautiful and yet you didn't want to touch him, in fear of ruining him. Astro reached his hand out, wanting to touch him but quickly moved his hand away. The grass was tall, tall enough to conceal Astro, a heavy wind brushed over them, making Dandy's petals move.

It felt like a cheesy scene out of a movie, Astro wanted to look away and yet he couldn't. Astro had always thought Dandy had charm, he wouldn't mind courting Dandy either. But those were his personal thoughts, only for his own mind

"You know Astro, the moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

Astro was knocked out of his thoughts, seems like he wasn't as sneaky as he thought he was. Astro slowly walked out of the grass, pillows and blanket in hand, he could feel Dandy's eyes on him. It made him shiver but he wouldn't physically show that.

He sat down next to Dandy, putting one of his many pillows behind his head and laid down. They both sat in silence, comfortable silence, both enjoying the others presence.

"So, what are you doing out here?"

Astro broke the silence, he heard dandy hum next to him. "I just wanted to look at the stars.." Astro hummed at Dandy's response. And it was quiet again, if Astro was being honest, he had never seen Dandy this calm it was a nice change.

He slowly reached for Dandy's hand, slowly grabbing it, Dandy wrapped his hands around Astro's. They both laid there in silence, minutes passed both occasionally pointing out stars that looked pretty.

Dandy felt himself drifting off to sleep and cuddled against Astro. He blushed at this and wrapped his all of his arms around Dandy. He pulled his head up and gave him a kiss on his forehead, and with that, he aloud himself to drift off to sleep as well.

Maybe he and Dandy could do this more often.
