Astro looked up to see Dandy, but it wasn't really Dandy, was it? Not anymore. He was just a corpse now.
Astro's eyes flickered over from his face to the rope around his neck; his hands trembling as he reached for his corpse. He didn't bother wiping the endless tears that flowed down his face; for he was too busy looking at his lost lover.
"D .. dandy.." He stood up; his blanket dropping on the ground while his eyes only widened further.
It seemed like the world was mocking him as the sunset light lit up Dandy's face; the dried tear marks were clearly more visible for Astro's dismay.
Astro froze, his breathing stopping while his arms moved on their own; clawing the air in a way of grabbing Dandy – or more so wanting to grab him.
It was strange, he wanted to hold him even though he was no longer here.
Dandy's corpse moved in the air; his face changed – the dead sulken look turning into a disapproving smile.
Astro fell backwards, panic now overwhelming his former grief.
"Dandy..?"
His body fell to the ground, face planting while his back cracked; Astro backed up further, he quickly grabbed his blanket – his only form of protection and comfort.
".. you need to stop dreaming. It's almost noon." Astro stopped and closed his eyes, he knew what this meant and he was more than happy to leave.
. . . . . . . . . . . .
Astro woke up and immediately looked down, only to be met with Dandy sleeping on his chest; a bit of drool coming out of his mouth while he snored.
He slightly smiled and began to rub his back, making Dandy move in his sleep.
"Mggh Astro.. stop.." Dandy buried his face into Astro's pajamas further; groaning as he wrapped his hands around Astro.
Astro silently giggled and pulled him closer, his eyes tracing his colorful petals with love.
"I love you Dandy. Don't ever leave me." Astro bent down and kissed the top of his head; closing his eyes with satisfaction afterwards.
