Shared secrets.

Poppy x Gigi

"I can't wait till tonight Poppy!" Gigi hugged her from behind, giggling at Poppy's scared scream from the sudden hug attack.

"I can't wait either! This is gonna be so much fun!" Poppy quickly turned around, hugging Gigi properly this time.

"I've got a ton of snacks and games to play! And a whole lot of stories and secrets to share!" Gigi bounced up and down, circling around her while glee on her face.

"Secrets?" Poppy's smile faded as her face flushed; she quickly turned her attention to fixing her dress. "Yeah! I share a secret and then you share one! Fun right?" Gigi came up from behind her; wrapping her arms around Poppy's neck as she smiled.

"Haha.. fun!.." Gigi removed herself from Poppy and stared at her, sensing something was wrong with her.

"Are you okay?" Poppy slowly moved away from her, nodding her head quickly, "Never better! Oh! Hear that? Boxten's calling me! Gotta go!" Poppy scrambled before running away in a random direction, clearly booking it once she was out of view.

Gigi just stood there confused, well, back to being happy about tonight's future!

Gigi shoved another handful of popcorn into her mouth, her eyes glued onto the screen as she continued to analyze every scene.

Poppy sat awkwardly next to her – sweating bullets as she ever so slightly scooted closer. Gigi stared at her list of activities to do, they had already played a few boardgames and had drawn for a bit, meaning there was only one thing left to do!

"Secret sharing!" Gigi said out loud, making Poppy stop in her tracks just as soon as she was about to lean her head against Gigi's shoulder.

"Wha–" Gigi jumped on top of Poppy, slightly shaking her as she grinned brightly. Poppy blushed and looked away – Gigi being too close to her face for her heart to take.

"We've gotta share secrets, remember?!" Poppy's blush intensified as her mind went blank, "This'll be so much fun! Okay okay so–" Gigi started to ramble on, Poppy couldn't pay attention due to her heart starting to beat fast.

What if Gigi went into the topic of relationships?! Poppy was basically allergic to lying, and she couldn't lie to her crush! Would this ruin their relationship?! Would they still be friends after the truth was revealed?

Poppy wanted to sink into the ground to avoid this strange and scary questions.

"Poppyyy– You alright?" Poppy snapped out of whatever trance she was in and almost screamed – Gigi was right in her face, Poppy fought the urge to lean in and awkwardly smiled.

"Yuppers! Just thinking!" Poppy scooted back, making Gigi frown. "No you're not, just tell me what's wrong." Gigi scooted closer, laying her head on Poppy's shoulder without warning.

"Please tell me. I want to help you." Gigi looked up at Poppy with bright eyes – making her heartbeat faster while her mouth formed a goofy smile.

Poppy took a deep breath and smiled, "I'll tell you later. For now, continue talking about what you were talking about before."

Gigi giggled and pulled away, pulling out a full  diagram while grinning.

"Okay so I saw Boxten and–"

Poppy grinned, holding onto every work Gigi muttered.

She couldn't wait to tell her about her 'secret'.
