Glisten mentally cheered as he spun around in circles. He had been trying to ask out Boxten and finally did it! Luckily Boxten accepted and they were gonna go on a date later!

Glisten ran towards his room, wanting to get ready as soon as possible even though the date wasn't for another four hours.

He quickly combed his hair and picked a presentable suit. He ran to the bathroom; turning on the shower – he practically ripped off his own clothes as he was too excited to move slowly. Even though he literally had four hours to get ready.

He stared at his reflection before stepping in the shower – smiling the whole time.

Boxten on the other hand was taking his time, not wanting to look too over-dressed and yet not too under-dressed. He buttoned up the dark purple suit Poppy had bought for him; Poppy was basically his wing-woman. She had set up the place they were gonna meet, had convinced Boxten to actually accept Glisten, and she had bought reservations for the restaurant they were going to.

"Poppy are you sure this is a good idea?" Boxten asked as he watch Poppy grab a box of cologne. "Of course it is! Besides, you need to get out there! Get a partner!" Poppy said while she looked through the box, trying to find the perfect cologne.

She smiled as she found one that smelled pretty okay, she hopped towards Boxten and sprayed him twice; Boxten coughed a bit due to the strong smell but didn't say anything.

"Yeah but what if I mess it up?" Boxten twiddled his thumbs together while Poppy just stared at him. "I don't think that'll happen! Just have confidence!" Poppy said as she looked at the time, somehow it seemed like it was going faster because they only had two hours left.. huh.

Poppy raised an eyebrow at it but ignored it, turning her focus back on her musical buddy. Boxten sighed and fixed his bowtie making Poppy giggle at his worried expression.

"You need to chill out, trust me. It'll go well. Do you want to get their earlier so you feel more comfortable?" Poppy said in a comforting tone wanting him to stop worrying so much, Boxten shook his head no and sat on his bed; he began to tap his foot on the ground excessively.

Poppy sighed and sat down next to him she looked off to the side with a pitiful expression. She turned towards Boxten and slightly smiled at him while she rubbed his shoulder, "You're gonna do great. Have confidence." Boxten gulped and stared back at her, "What if I mess this up like I messed it up with Finn?" He whispered while grabbing her hand that was on her shoulder.

"Let's not think about Finn right now. Trust me, it's gonna be okay." Poppy helped him stand up and held his hands together.

"C'mon. Let's arrive early. It'll calm your nerves and allow you to get a feel of the place." Poppy guided him towards her car, Boxten's was currently in the shop because Shrimpo decided to set it on fire; for 'fun' he said as the two asked him why.

"I really hope you're right Poppy."

"Pshh.. I'm always right, box–boy."

Boxten waved at Poppy as he drove away, he gulped and headed inside. Thankfully nobody was really in there, besides a family of 6 and an elderly couple; he headed towards his designated table and pulled out the phone.
