"Okay so the manual says we have to.. paint each other's nails..?" Vee re-read the transcript, her antenna sparking a bit as she processed the information. "Huh- no- Vee.." Shelly dragged Vee onto the bed and took the 'manual to friendship' out of her hands; setting It on her dinosaur themed nightstand.

"Just.. go with the flow! Let it come naturally!" Shelly patted her gently on her thigh - Vee started at her blankly before sighing. "Shelly.. I'm truly trying but nothing comes 'naturally' to me, it's all coded in." She did a knocking motion on her head Shelly winced at the clanking noise. "Ah. I forgot about that.. detail." Shelly frowned and rubbed her arm a bit. "I know you said everything is 'coded' in but would you like to read some dinosaur facts?" Vee fought back her usual line of already knowing it all and nodded; Shelly grinned and went off to grab some of her favorite books.

"What's this feeling, it feels.. weird." Vee messed with her bow - she didn't feel 'normal', not since her and Shelly became Bestfriends at least.

"Okayyy! I've misplaced my other books so I only have this one-" Shelly plopped down next to her and flipped to a random page.

"Okay so, The Argentinosaurus, a type of sauropod, is the longest known land-based dinosaur, reaching up to 40 meters (approximately 130 feet) in length and 21 meters (about 70 feet) in height. This massive creature was as long as four fire engines and is considered a record-holder for both length and weight-" Vee just stared at her as she continued on, her antennas sparking each time they maintained eye contact.

Shelly finished with a long breath of air and smiled at Vee. "Wow .. We should do this more often, s-shelly.." Vee's screen glitched when she said her name, Shelly didn't notice as she was overwhelming with excitement. Shelly went to hug Vee but stopped herself and realized how 'childish' she was acting.

"It's fine .. go on." Shelly grinned and hugged her, her arms wrapped around her tightly as she buried her face into Vee's shoulder. Vee glitched for a moment before reaching over and patting her back awkwardly. Shelly pulled back with a raised eyebrow.

"You need to work on that.." Vee turned her full body towards her and tilted her head in confusion. "On what exactly..?" Shelly sighed and carefully grasped her hands "Physical touch. You're so.. tense." Vee let Shelly interlock their fingers, her microphone tail slightly swaying behind her. "Just let yourself calm down, take in the moment." Vee rested her shoulders and stared at their hands "This doesn't feel.. bad actually."

Shelly smiled and scooted closer, "Wanna redo that hug..?" Shelly braced for rejection but was surprised by Vee slowly nodded. "Yeah.. I wanna try." Vee opened her legs and opened her arms - waiting for Shelly to 'swoop' in. "W-we're hugging like this..?" Shelly's face flushed with 'embarrassment' "Is there something wrong with it?" Vee was interrupted by Shelly springing herself onto her; locking her arms around Vee's neck. "I guess not then.." Vee closed her legs, locking them around Shelly to keep her in place. She carefully brought her closer with her arms "You're warm." Vee muttered as she put her head onto Shelly's shoulder.

"You're warm too.. really warm- wait are you overheating?" Shelly tried to pull away to check up on her but couldn't due to Vee holding onto her tightly. "I'll be fine." Shelly let herself melt back into Vee's touch and sighed. "Whatever you say."
