Chapter 33

2 months later

"Thank you sir, have a nice day" I say politely before leaving the office of my English teacher and going to my new car in the car park of the university.

These last weeks have been very difficult for me. I spent my time working very hard for my final exams, and Harry has been touring so I haven't seen him for three weeks. Thankfully, he's coming back home tonight for a week break.

When I arrive at his house, where he asked me to wait for him and the boys, I decide to make a chocolate cake. I grab the ingredients when my phones rings.

"Char ?"

"Harold !" I shout

"Are you home ?"

"Yes I am, when will you be here ?"

"We're in the car, we should be there in less than thirty minutes"

"Ok, can't wait to see you !"

"Me too baby girl. I love you"

"Love you too" I grin before hanging up.

Finally, I hear the car in the driveway and jump on my feet, rushing towards the door and hurtling down the steps. He gets out of the car, wearing sunglasses and a hat with a white tshirt. As soon as he sees me, his dimples grow and he opens his arms which I throw myself into, wrapping my arms around him.

"I missed you" he says, his face burried in my hair.

"I missed you too. So much"

I pull away and raise my eyes toward him. He smiles and approaches his pink lips to mine, kissing me hard.

"Can I have a hug too ?" Liam says timidly. I turn to him and smile, pulling him into a hug.

"Hi Payno"

"How are you ?"

"I'm great, you ?"

"The trip was a little bit boring but I'm fine" he grins pulling away

"Where are the others ?" I frown, looking around.

"Their car should be here soon. Anyway let's go inside"

I nod and follow them into the house.

A few minutes later, Niall opens the door, followed by Zayn and Louis.

"Hey !" I exclaim, standing up from the couch. "Nice to see you Nialler"

"You too !" he smiles and kisses my cheek.

"Hi love" Louis says as he steps towards me.

"Loueh !" I tease pulling him into a hug. I missed him so much. I'm so lucky to have him as a best friend, he's truly an amazing person. He pulls away, letting me say hello to Zayn who's patiently waiting behind him.

"It's been a long time Char"

"It has " I pout.

"Anyway, it's good to be home !"

"Are you hungry ? I made a cake"

"Great ! I'm starving !" Niall shouts rushing to the kitchen

"Is there any point when you are not hungry Neil ?" Louis teases

"Ew" the blond boy glares at him before laughing

"Hm lads, do you mind if I leave ? I haven't seen Sophia for ages..." Liam asks timidly

"Sure, go man. Say hello from me"

"Have fun !" Harry smirks before Liam slams the door.
We all head to the kitchen and they tell me about the tour.

The next day

"I'm going to do some shopping !" I say grabbing my keys.

"Ok see ya honey" Harry blows me a kiss.

Ten minutes later, I finally arrive to the supermarket and park my car. I get out of it, checking my shopping list when I suddenly feel a hand on my mouth. I open my eyes wide and try to scream but instead someone puts a tissue drenched in chloroform and I immediately blackout.

I wake up in a small and white room, with nothing on the walls. There is no furniture either. I blink a few times. Someone leans towards me.

"Finally you're awake little bitch. Get up !" The lady orders.
She must be around 20, but her hair is so slicked back into a bun and her blue gaze is so harsh that she looks much more older.

"Where am I ? Who are you ?" I panic. She rolls her eyes before continuing.

"I want to make a deal with you." The girl stands and begins pacing up and down in the room. "Here's the thing. Harry and I used to date before he went to the Xfactor. But when he joined the band, he broke up with me and I went crazy. It wasn't supposed to end up like this: I've known him since we were six, we dated for two years and our parents had even planned for us to get married. He's mine and now I want him back. And you're going to break up with him so I can have him."

I stare at her before bursting into laughter.

"Ahah good joke. What are you, a jealous fan ?" I snap

She doesn't say anything. She just gets a few pictures out of her pocket and holds them towards me.

They're photos of Harry and her a few years ago.

"Ok well let's admit that you dated him. Why would I break up with him ?" I laugh at her.

She keeps staring me with her creepy blue eyes and harsh gaze without blinking.

"That's the second part of the deal. Come with me"

She stands up and leads me to another room, quite similar to the previous one. The room is full of screens, maybe security cameras. Two burly men are standing in front of the door and I start to freak out. Where the hell am I ?

"So, if you break up with Harry, the people you love will be safe. If not, I will kill them before killing you" she simply says, lighting up the screens. I take a few steps away when I see what is on them, covering my mouth with my hand. There are security cameras spying on Victoria, Hanna, Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis.

"As you can see, I put cameras in their house. I just want Harry, Charlotte. Give him back to me and they'll be safe" she says quietly, pointing at the screens.

"You fucking bitch, what kind of psychopath are you ? You're sick, go to see the doctor ! " I shout before taking my phone to call the police. Of course, it's not in my pocket.

"Gimme my phone" I order.

Within a second, I find myself with a knife under my throat.

"Now you're going to listen to me" the crazy lady says, her teeth clenched and her gaze harsh.
"You and all your fucking friends are under surveillance. If you talk about this to anyone, or call the police, I'll kill them. And I will finish with you. "

"Why don't you just kill me then ? I mean right now. So you can have Harry and the others are safe"

"If I kill you, he would be heart broken and will never stop thinking about you. His mind will always be with you. So you need to make him believe you don't love him anymore. "

She steps away and I glance at the two men behind me. I swallow when I see the gun under their jacket.

"Su.. Sure.. I... I won't tell" I stammer, completely panicked.

"Fine" she suddenly smiles, which is even more creepy. "You have one week, see ya'"

She gives me my phone back before leading me to my car.
