The New Girl

Mikado's POV

I looked out the window. I was sitting in Homeroom. I sat in the back row and the seat on the very left. The teacher had walked out of the room for a minute and the class was quietly chatting. A girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes walked into the classroom and stood at the front. There was some sort of bandage around her head. ' Did she come back from the hospital?' I wondered. The class started talking to each other about the new dark haired transfer student. "Class, we have a new transfer student today." Miss Yamamoto said as the girl bowed "My name is Itsuki Rin" she said. I looked back out the window. I hear the teacher to tell her to sit next to me so I look over and bow my head. "Hi, I'm Mikado Ryugamine!" I say as she sits down at the desk next to mine. She bows her head and says "Nice to meet you Ryugamine." Her voice is clear but quiet enough for the teacher not to hear. She opens her book and looks up at the board to copy the note on the board. ' Is it weird that I'm looking at her?' I think as I feel myself getting slightly warm. I take my pencil out and start to copy the note down too. The class ends and I walk over to Itsuki. "So how's Raira Academy so far?" I ask trying to be friendly. "It's good I guess." She says. 'I guess it's because she's only been here for less than half a day." I thought. I saw Masaomi walking our way and I looked over at Itsuki. "Hey, you wanna meet my friend?" I ask. "Yeah, sure." She says following me. "This is Kida Masa-" I say before Kida cuts me off. "I'm Masaomi Kida!" he says with his usual goofy grin on his face. He bows with his left arm extended behind him. "It's a pleasure to meet such a pretty girl!" he says with his confident voice. Itsuki bows and replies "I'm Itsuki Rin" Kida has a smile plastered across his face. "You know what? We should go on a date sometime!" Masaomi says. 'Typical Kida...' I think. Itsuki looks at him with a blank expression. I sigh I wave my hand, "H-he's just kidding! he flirts with everyone!" I say trying to apologize for Kida. "Hey I don't flirt with you!" Kida says pouting playfully. Itsuki laughs quietly. A girl suddenly comes running up to us. "Rin! Rin! Rin-chan! Rin-chan! Rin-chan!" the girl with h/c hair calls. "Ah, good timing." Itsuki says pulling the h/c haired girl into our group. "Don't call me Rin-chan..." Itsuki said while nervously rubbing the back of her head. "This is y/n l/n" she introduced. I bowed and said "I'm Mikado Ryugame!" Masaomi bowed as well,
"I'm Kida Masaomi." He said. "This is perfect! we can all go on double dates!" Kida exclaimed.
"H-he's not serious! don't worry!" I said stuttering. "Aw. Mikado I was serious! C'mon why wouldn't you wanna hang around cute boobilicious girls?" Kida said in a teasing-like tone.
"M-Masaomi!" I said as if telling him not to say that. Kida slung his arm around My shoulder and pointed at me. "C'mon Mikado! I'm sure the girls will love you!" He teased. L/n laughed"You two seem like good friends!" She said smiling. 'Ah, I get it now, y/n is more outgoing and Rin is quieter' I thought. "Yup!" Kida said taking his arm off my shoulder and putting his hands in his pockets. "So do you all wanna go eat lunch together later?" I offered looking at the two girls. "Yeah, sure. Sounds cool." Itsuki said. "Goodbye my future girlfriends! See ya later!" Kida said running in the opposite direction. "See ya around Itsuki and l/n" I said bowing. "See ya" Rin said saluting me "See you guys later!" Y/n said as I off to find Masaomi.
