The New Kid

Mira Nekota's POV

I sat I my desk and opened my pink pencil case with chocolate pocky sticks on it and took out a yellow pencil with limes, orange slices and lemon slices on it and saw a new girl walk in. She had h/l h/c hair and e/c eyes. "You can introduce yourself." Miss Lilith said to the girl as she bowed. "I'm f/n l/n!" she exclaimed. "Miss l/n you can take a seat next to miss Nekota. And in case you need anything you can call me teacher Lilith." Miss Lilith said. I waved. "I'm Nekota Mira!" she exclaimed introducing myself. " Nice to meet you Y/n I hope we can be friends!" I said then smiled. Y/n smiled back "I hope so too!" Y/n said and looked on the board where the teacher was writing a note we had to copy. I started copying the note too. "shoot! I forgot my pencil in my locker" Y/n whisper shouted. I leaned over and handed her a pink pencil with red strawberries on it. "Thanks!" She said beaming. I smiled and went back to copying. After class y/n gave me my pencil back and walked off. I walked down the hall and started talking to my friends. I turned and saw y/n waving at me. She was with another girl with dark brown hair, y/n grabbed the girl's hand and ran towards me as I waved. "Hey!" the girl exclaimed not expecting y/n to pull her. "Hello!" y/n said in a friendly tone. "This is my friend Rin Itsuki! She looks kinda mean but trust me she's not!" Y/n introduced. The girl named Rin bowed "I'm Mira Nekota" I replied. Rin looked at me as I said "Nice to meet you Rin!" I said smiling. "You too Nekota." Rin said calmly. "You don't have to call me Nekota you can just call me Mira!" I said being friendly. "You seem happy Nekota." Rin said. "Mhmm I just got some sweets from the bakery not too far from here! We should all go sometime!" I offered. "Mmm sounds good!" Y/n said. "Well we gotta go, see you around
Mira-San!" Y/n called as Rin followed.
I went back to talking to my group of friends. "I better get to class!" I said walking to my locker. "Bye!" "See ya!" "See ya around Mira-chan!" "Bye!" "See you at lunch!" My friends called as I got my book out of my locker and walked to class. I pulled my medium length orange hair into two ponytails and secured them with two white sparkly scrunchies. I skipped to class and opened the door then walked in sitting in my seat.
