March 25th
Saturday, 9:37 A.M.

I woke up hearing Empress making little sounds on the baby monitor. And I might as well get up. I'm in the mood for breakfast.

I pushed the covers off me looking over to see Dayvon still fast asleep. So I'll let him be. I took my phone with me and went to Empress's room.

"Hiii my pretty baby." I said coming over to her with a smile. I picked her up already feeling she needs her diaper changed. But it's the morning so I might as well just give her a bath.

I went to the bathroom in her room and stopped the drain and ran the water. I went back the room and started picking out her clothes for the day and undressing her.

I cleaned her up and went back to the bathroom putting her in the tub.

10:44 A.M.

"Dayvon you can get up now!" I yelled with an attitude halfway done with breakfast but he didn't respond.

"No food for niggas who don't help with their kid." I said placing pancakes on our plates. And I finally saw him come out of our bedroom.

"I was brushin my damn teeth." He said and I gave Empress to him.

"You made ha bottle?" He asked and I shook my head as he opened the fridge.

"So. I know you wanted to go to the mall with me and Empress but I completely forgot I told my mom she could take her." I said and Dayvon's expression dropped.

"I gotta make an appointment to take my daughter to the mall?" He said pouring milk into a bottle.

"I forgotttt." I said.

"Then that's makes it bad for YOU." He pointed twisting the top on the bottle.

"How?" I laughed.

"Cause now you stuck wit only me and you all day. N you know that means we bout to do dumb shit." He said making me laugh again.

"Yes you're right. I do know. Dayvon = dumb shit." I said and he side eyed me as he put the bottle in the warmer.

"Your food is ready baby." I said putting forks on both of our plates walking to the living room.

He joined me in the living room when Empress's bottle was done. He sat down next to holding the bottle to her lips as she drank and we started eating.

12:27 P.M.

"And I'll be back at 11 to drop her off." My mom said throwing her bag over her shoulder.

"You loveeee hoggin my daughter don't you?" Von said standing in front of me in the doorway and I laughed.

"Is it a crime to love your grand babies? I'm picking up Tremai next." My mom smiled big.

"See you. Love you. I love you Empress." I said blowing kisses to her in her carrier.

I closed the door once my mom got on the elevator and me and Dayvon went to our bedroom.
