Zero POV

Los Angeles, California
May 1st
Monday, 4:37 A.M.

"Please be careful holding her. She's sleep baby." I said seeing him get a little loose with how he was holding her.

"Calm down. You also got me carryin damn there all the other bags." Dayvon said as I held the door open for him. So i just held the carrier myself so he could hold the bags.

We went downstairs and to Dayvon's Rolls Royce. I strapped Empress in the back while Dayvon put the bags in the back.

"And where is Ari?" Dayvon asked opening my door for me.

"She said she's coming down now." I said clicking off my phone after texting her. Dayvon got in the car and in a couple of minutes we saw Ari coming out of the elevator with Yosohn. Dayvon got back out of the car to help her with her bags.

Yosohn ran over to the car getting inside. And while Ari and Dayvon put the bags in the trunk I put Yosohn's seatbelt on for him.

We finally pulled off and went to the airport meeting my mom, Taurus, and Chalynn there. I got out of the car rubbing my eyes from taking a very brief nap on the way here.

I stepped up inside the plane and immediately went and sat with my mom leaning on her shoulder closing my eyes. I'm 23 but never too old to fall asleep on my mama shoulder.

"Girl open yo eyes and watch yo daughter." I heard Dayvon say and everyone laughed. I opened my eyes not moving yet.

"Please don't make me smack you on this plane." I said closing my eyes again and I felt him sit next to me.

"Lay on your man." My mom nudged me and I scrunched up my face.

"Mom." I complained but I felt a hand around the back of my neck pulling me to them. And i rolled my eyes knowing it was Dayvon.

"You gone sleep real good ma." He said kissing my forehead and I held back a smile from that. I just wrapped my arms around Dayvon getting more comfortable while he held Empress on the opposite side in his arm.

8:57 P.M.

I held Empress on my side as I carefully stepped down the steps off the plane. Looking around, I do not miss it.

Love my city, it made me who i am. But when you come from dark hard ass places, you are not exactly in a rush to go back.

It's not dark because i had a bad childhood. I had a good childhood. But let's not act like we don't know there isn't hella gun violence. I have lost so many friends and family to gun violence because someone is ALWAYS shooting over here.

I considered it a blessing my brother was able to move me and my mom out of here in time before God forbid something happened to one of us.

I went over to the black truck they were putting my bags and suitcases in. I opened the door but looked back to see where Dayvon was. When he saw me looking at him, he came over to me and took Empress so I could get in the car. He strapped her in and I went on instagram since I finally have WiFi.
