Cameron's p.o.v
Weighing 4 pounds and 8 incs long Dakota Alexandrea Dallas was officially in my arm's on Tuesday, May 15th at 1:35 am.
Paisley stayed asleep for quite some time and I couldn't help but sneek a peek at Dakota. When I first laied my eye's on her I knew it was love at first sight.
Her soft yawn made my heart melt and tears quickly streamed down my cheeks. I have everything now.
Paisley shook my world in many ways that I can't even seem to break down into words.
Before her I was a mess.
I drank too much, smoked too much hell I slept around too much just trying too get over Alexis. I thought that maybe all of those things that I was doing would make it easier but in all reality it just made everything worse. She's made me a better person overall and I'm so greatful to call her mine.
Standing over Dakota I couldn't help but close my eyes and start to pray.
'Dear God, thank you so much. Thank you for this amazing life you've givin me.......I really can't thank you enough can I. I guess I started this to ask you a favor.. Please make sure that my baby girl is healthy. Watch over her life just take it into your hands. Paisley and I can't do this on our own, so please guide us through this amazing journey and teach us to be the parent's Dakota deserves.

I opened my eye's and saw Dakota sound asleep, so I brushed her soft cheek once more and pulled my hands out of the gloves.
'Daddy loves you baby girl.' I said and with that I left. I went back into Paisley's room where I actually found her awake.
"Hey Babe." I said as I walked closer too her.
"Hey, how's the baby?" She asked and I smiled.
"She's good, and I hope you don't mind but I named her Dakota like we had planned at the house. It just fits her." I said with a smile on my face. I sat down on her bed and placed my hand in her's.
"She's so tiny baby. She's only 4 pounds and eight inchs long. She looks a lot like me honestly." I gush and she smiled.
"I can't wait too see her." She replied. I leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"Hey I'm going to call our parent's and friends to let them know Dakota's here okay?" She nodded her head and gestured her hand.
"Babe can you get me some water first, please?" She asked and K nodded my head. I got up slowly and got her water then handed it too her.
"Thank you cam." I smiled.
"It's no problem Paise." With that I left the room and the first person I decided to call was my mother.
"Hello?"
"Hey mom it's me Cameron"
"Oh hey honey! How's Paisley? "
"That's actually what I was calling about. Well little Dakota decided to come out a little early and she's here!"
"Oh honey! I'm on my way! Tell Paisley I said congratulations! I love you."
"I love you too mom. Bye."
"Bye"

That was easy. Next was Paisley's parent's.....a phone call I'm not to thrilled too be making. A few months ago we actually went to visit them and tell them the news, wich they weren't too happy about.

"Hello?"
"Yes, Mrs. Jacobs. This is Cameron."
"Oh....hello."
"Hi, well you see Paisley went into labor a little early and we have little Dakota. You both are welcome to come and see her if you would like. "

The line went dead and honestly that is the exact reaction I was expecting. All I know is, is that they are missing out on a wonderfull gift. Let alone their only grandchild.
I continued to call the rest of our friends and they were all on their way.
After I was finished I went back into the room and told Paisley everything. She looked a little sad but I quickly changed that.
"Hey on a better note, My mom, sister, Matt, Nash, Carter, Shawn, Mahogany, Gilinsky, Johnson, Aaron, Taylor, Dillon, Jacob, Nate and Sammy are all coming too see her." Her eye's widened and a smile crept on her face.
"Awwww really! My omaha boys are taking a flight out here?!" She exclaimed. She has gotten pretty close to them especially Sammy. I swear there is not one day that goes by that they don't talk. I ran my fingers through her hair.
"Maybe you should get some sleep before everybody comes. You look exausted." She nodded her head.
"I love you Cameron." She said. I smiled and gave her a light kiss on the lips.
"I love you too."
10:00 am
My alarm went off and I quickly shut it off. I turned my head over too Paisley too see her holding Dakota. I smiled and her gaze was still on Dakota.
"She's beautiful isn't she." I asked and she nodded her head.
"She look's just like you Cameron! She has your lips, your face shape, your nose!" She's litterly your clone." She gushed. I looked down at Dakota and placed my finger in her tiny hand, letting her latch on.
"She's gotta firm grip." I say.
"Do you wanna hold her Cam?" She asked. I immediately nodded my head yes and she lifted her tiny body up to me. I gently took her into my hands.
"Hey Baby...it's your daddy here. I love you so much and am so excited you're here with me." I sat kissed her cheek and carefully sat down in the chair next to Paisley's bed.
'We're gonna do so much together. We'll go to the park and when your a little older I'll even take you to Disney World. But for now we'll just chill at home with mommy. You're gonna depend on her for a while. We'll watch elmo and clifford and whatever else you want too. You're daddy's princess and can have whatever you want. I promise you I will always be here for you and I will never let you down." I looked up at Paisley who had apparently been recording me the whole entire time.
"That was the cutest thing I've ever seen." She said as she turned the camera off.
"Well every word I said I ment. I will be the best father I can be.....better than mine ever was." She sat back in scilence knowing I never talk about my dad, and when I did it didn't always end well. I pushed him out of my head. Today is all about Dakota and nothing can ruin it.
