"Chapter 7~Heart Monitor."

Alex's POV

The next day I heard about what happened to Stiles' dad I felt bad for him since he couldn't do anything to protect him.

If I was there I would have done something but, I was dealing with a problem of my own at the moment...my overprotective dad.

Right now we are about to train Scott he doesn't know that we are doing this but the alpha could attack him at any moment he has to be ready for anything.

My dad goes and chases him while I wait for the right moment, I can hear his heartbeat but then I hear a bunch of car alarms go off.

Smart Scott but then his phone rang I took my chance and grabbed him from behind the car and slammed him on top.

"You're dead," I said then I let go of him once my dad came back

"What the heck was that?!" Scott yelled at us.

"We said that we were going to teach you we never said when." my dad said as we kept walking.

"You scared the crap out of me!" Scott yelled

"Not yet," I said

"Okay, but I was fast right?" Scott asked

"Not fast enough," Dad said

"But the car alarm thing that was smart, right?" Scott asked

"Till your phone rang," Dad said

"Would you just stop?" Scott yelled

"What happened the other night Stiles' dad getting hurt that was my fault I should have been there to do something I need you to help me control this," Scott said

"Look we are what we are because of birth you were bitten teaching someone who was bitten takes the time I don't know if we can teach you," Dad said

"What do I have to do?" Scott asked

"You have to get rid of distractions," Dad said

"This is why Alex caught you if you want me to teach you to need to be focused," Dad said

"You getting angry that's the first lesson you want to learn how to control this, how to shift you do it through anger by tapping into a primal animal rage and you can't do that with her around," Dad said

"I can get angry," Scott said

"Not angry enough!" my dad yelled

"This is the only way that we can teach you how can you stay away from Allison at least till after the full moon?" Dad asked

"If that's what it takes," Scott said

"Do you want to live do you want to protect your friends yes or no?!" my dad yelled

"Yes if you guys can teach me I can stay away from her," Scott said

We left Scott after that  I was able after the hunters left to get my stuff.

Since the Hale house was owned by the county the  hunters know that it's our usual hideout. My dad bought an old apartment building so we have been staying there till the close is clear.

"Hey, dad you still never told me who that huntress was," I said remembering that he was attacked while I was with Scott.

"Don't worry about it okay?" He said

"I thought you said we shouldn't be keeping things from each other," I said

My dad sighed "Her name was Kate Argent we went out for a while later I introduced her everyone then a couple of weeks later she trapped our family and burned the house down." Dad said
