Alex's POV
After the other night's events, I decided to go outside of Beacon for a while just to be alone. I guess I get that from my dad cause that's what he's doing too.

Losing pack member isn't like losing family it's like losing a limb. I wish things would go back to normal and by that, I mean the way things were after the fire since those are the memories that I seem to remember the most.

Flashback

7-year-olds
After the fire we decided to move to New York, I still had to go to school so I've been doing online school. I just want to go and make friends not stay on this computer doing stupid stuff.

I was spinning in my chair looking at all the assignments I haven't done, my dad isn't crazy overprotective when comes to my homework but my aunt Laura was a different story. Luckily she went out to get groceries.

She just wants what's best for me and me being a normal seven-year-old girl was apart of that.

"Allie, have you finished your homework?" My dad asked from the living room

Shoot, he would be able to hear my heartbeat if I lied

"Allie?" He called

"Umm...no I'm not done," I said

I heard him coming closer until he was in the same room as me.

"Allie, you've been in here for an hour, do you need help?" He asked

"No, I just don't want to do it, Daddy, it's too much work," I said

"That's because you've waited so long to finish them." He said as he kneeled down to my height

"Can you help me?" I asked

"Of course Allie." He picking me up while swinging me around causing me to giggle

I was able to finish with the help of my dad before Laura came home, once we finished we all watched a movie together on the couch.

I cuddled close to my dad starting to feel sleepy.

"Go to sleep Allie." He said noticing I was tired

"But what if you guys are gone when I wake up?" I asked

"No one's leaving, we'll be here when you wake up." He said

"Promise," I said

"Promise." He said pulling me closer to him

"Love you, daddy." I yawned before closing my eyes falling into a peaceful sleep but not before hearing my dad's voice

"Love you too Allie." He said then kissed my forehead.
