"Ah, God, back home..." Phantom said with a heavy, tired sigh as he stopped the car in front of his base in the snow. "Get a moment to relax. Finally..." Phantom killed the engine. "Um. Don't you have A LOT of over things to do tonight?" Vaggie asked in the right seat behind him. "Don't ruin my joyful moments, I don't get a lot of those..." Phantom sighed as he open the cockpit and jump out into the snow.

"So. What're you up to?" Vaggie asked as he jumped into the snow and followed. "I had a fight that damaged some of suit's tech. Been meaning to get it fixed, but some things came up." Phantom said as they made it to the door. "What things?" Vaggie asked. "Uh, all of you falling into our fucking universe from another. Oh, and also depression. That's a real motivation killer..." Phantom said as the base doors slid opened.

"Phantom, you're back. Oh, and.... Vaggie!" Charlie jumped outside and hugged Vaggie tightly. "Uh, hun? I... n-need air!" Vaggie gasped. "Oh, uh, sorry! I didn't mean to!" Charlie smiled nervously. The two smiled at each other. Phantom watched awkwardly. "Yeeeeeah. Um. You know what? I got stuff to do, so, why don't you two catch up? Ima head inside." He slowly stepped into the base. The two watched as he popped his head out of the doorway. "Oh, and, uh, could you not die out here, Princess? That would look really bad on me as the protector." Phantom asked. "Um. I think we'll be ok." Vaggie smirked as he left.

"Are you ok out here, hun? You've been drinking and eating?" Vaggie asked. "Vaggie, I'm fine." Charlie smirked. "He's been treating you ok?" Vaggie grabbed her arms. "Actually... he's been really kind. Mostly." Charlie said. Vaggie lifted a brow. "Mostly?" She asked. "Yeah. But only on a sore subject." Charlie explained. "What subject?" Vaggie asked, crossing her arms. Charlie looked at the door to base to see if it was clear. "Come with me. Don't... say anything..." Charlie took Vaggie's hand and led her to the gravesite of Sarah Quill. AKA Eclipse.

"Yeah. And maybe we can... talk about a few other things..." Vaggie looked at Charlie and thought about a few secrets... she should have told her.

INSIDE PHANTOM BASE.

"If Cutter's body wasn't in that motel, The Light Core must've taken it. But then why leave the demon girls? Strange..." Phantom said as he sparked a repair tool against his body armor. Once he was don't repairing his armor, he put the tool down and ran a quick test. His body flashed with a red glow and then he quickly cloaked invisible. "Excellent." He laughed as he decloaked. "Now... problem number two..." He said as he sat down at his console and activated the security cameras inside the Dark Tower. "Oink!" Fat Nuggets said as jumped onto the console. "You even hit a key, I will eat you."

He clicked all the necessary keys needed to pull up the security cameras for the tower. He swapped through them all, seeing soldiers and demons in the tower halls. But he was looking for just one. Seviathan Von Eldritch. A titan class threat in Phantom's eyes. But royal complications are preventing him from acting how he did about 2 years ago. When he started being who he was, murdering monsters was his specialty.

"There you are." He said as he spotted Seviathan on camera 57. "What are you up to, snake?..." he glared at the screen. Seviathan walked just like what he was. A serpent, slithering towards its prey. He hated it. And he hated himself a little. He wasn't there to protect anyone. With that thought in his head, Charlie and Vaggie walked in from the snow. "Maybe. I can use someone's help..." he thought as watched Vaggie. "You two seem good." Phantom said as he continued to watch the two. "Yeah. We talked." Vaggie said. "Yeah. About, uh... a few things." Charlie said with a smile.

"Well, good. I fixed my gear. I need to get moving." Phantom said as he popped out of his chair and walked down the stairs. "Already? But you just got back? Don't you want a breather?" Charlie asked. "I rest fast. I'm moving now." Phantom said as walked past Charlie who was concerned. "Are you sure?" Charlie grabbed his hand.

"You've been running from place to place, without a break. I'm just worried, is all." Charlie tried to make him stay for his health. He looked down at her. "Charlie, I'm sorry. But I got work to do." He left her and walked back out into the snow. "I gotta get going. It was good to catch up a bit." Vaggie said as Fat Nuggets stood by. Charlie's feet. "Ok. Just one more before you go!" Charlie pulled Vaggie into a hug. "We'll be safe. I promise." Vaggie said as Charlie released her from her vice hold. "And I promise to call!" Vaggie said as she followed Phantom outside.

OUTSIDE.

"Everything going on out here. And that one snake in the tower. I can't be in two places at once..." Phantom thought as he leaned against his car in the falling snow under the moonlight. "Alright. So now what, we drive around until your hounds and Dagger find the base?" Vaggie asked as she made to his side. "Well. Something like that..." he said quietly. "What is it? You don't sound right..." Vaggie noted. "Vaggie... I need you to do something for me." He said hesitantly. "Ok? What is it?..." she asked with a raised brow. "I need you to stay at the tower." He finally told her. Vaggie blinked like she heard an insult. "Uh, excuse you?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips. "Just listen." He said.

"I thought we were working together now? I thought we were both gonna handle Edge!?" Vaggie said. "There's a reason why." He tried to explain. "No, I swear, if this is because of some lone wolf act, I promise-" "I NEED... I need your help." He stopped himself from yelling at her. "My help with what?" She asked. "Listen. Nitro and Ravage are incompetent, Shade's busy running the medical center, Shatter is organizing war ships, Star has her kids, Knight has to run the army that's all around the world, and I'm out here. I need you to got back to the tower... and keep an eye on Seviathan." He explained. "A-... Are you sure?" Vaggie asked, surprised that he would trust her on a matter of this caliber.

"I'm asking you to protect your family. And mine. Because I trust you. Will you do that?" He asked. Vaggie stood there, still shocked. "Uh, I... yes. Yes I will. Nothing will happen to them." She said. "Alright. Here, use this. Ravage gave me it as a gift. But I don't care for motorcycles." He said as a sleek, black motorcycle automatically drove up to Vaggie's side. She walked over and found a way to sheath her spear on the left hand side of the bike. "Nothing's gonna happen to them. You have my word." She said. "Thank you. Take care of them." He said as she jumped at him with a hug. "Just take of her and we can call it even."
