"Annnnnnd done!" Phantom kicked the base lid shut in the night snow. "Hey. Ummm... that leader. Guardian. Is..." Charlie hesitated on comms. "Yes? Out with it." He walked off into the snow. "Is he the one? Did he kill Eclipse?" Charlie asked quietly. Phantom remained quiet as his car pulled up. "No. No he is not..." He said as he jumped into his cockpit and readied the car for his next clue. "Do you... wanna talk about who did it?" Charlie asked. "WHY would I want to talk about it?" He said coldly as he looked at Cutter phone.

"Well. I was thinking maybe if you talked about it... it could help you... heal. So. What do ya say?" Charlie asked with an optimistic smile. "Absolutely not." He said bluntly. "Mmm. Figures..." Charlie sighed, hoping to help him, like Knight asked. "Well. Now what? What'd you find on the phone?" She asked as burned through the snow. "His messages to Edge after the prison incident say something about a warehouse in Ice City. He was gonna meet with someone. And Cutter had his concerns. While Edge went to deal with this meeting, Cutter took his place with Valentino. Then that led to the events of the motel. While Cutter and his demon women were killed, Edge met with whoever was after him. The meeting was at Field Warehouse. If I want to find anything more on Edge, that's where I need to go..." He explained as he drove over a large frozen bridge that led straight to Ice City. "Well then hurry. If Edge was meeting whoever else is involved in all this while Cutter was seeing Valentino, this trail could be hours cold!" Charlie feared. "Relax, Princess. Nobody escapes me. Nobody..."

DARK TOWER.

"For this last time, Miss Carmine, all this information is classified. Didn't Knight explain this to you?" Shatter said as walked down the halls of the tower as she was followed by Carmilla. "It is impossible to kill an angel without weaponry forged with angelic steel. I'd very much like to know more about Dark Core Leader Phantom. Because, with all due respect, commander, I don't exactly believe this story of the angel's death..." Carmine said. Shatter laughed. "Really? If you don't believe that The Phantom killed an angel with his bare hands, then why are you sooooo worked up about it?" Shatter asked.

Without being seen by anyone one, Seviathan stood behind the corner of the hall, watching Carmilla and Shatter speaking. "An interesting story..." he said. "Then where is this body?" Carmilla asked, crossing her arms. "The body was washed out into sea from the Ice Caves. We haven't found it yet. But the head is in our tower's laboratory. Where you don't have access to." Shatter said. "The laboratory, eh? Perhaps... I'll take a look." Seviathan smiled and slipped off towards the labs.

"Let's see, let's see... ammunitions... weaponry... armors. Ah! Laboratory!" Seviathan smiled as he found the door to the tower's lab. Seviathan laughed quietly as he looked down at the door security panel. "Hmph. Just another thing I can simply take..." he waved his hand with green magic to grant him access. He opened the door and found an empty lab. Tables, boxes, and laboratory equipment were scattered around the room. "Perhaps you can tell me some secrets..." he smiled at the console in the lab. He used his magics to gain access to the computer's files.

"What do I need to know? Let's find out..." he typed away on the keyboard. "Hmmm, Soul Steel files..." he noted as pictures of multi colored metal ores in a vault was shown. "Shadow Pregnancy project subject X..." he said as pictures of a foggy glass tube was shown. Strangely, it had the dark shadowy figure of a baby inside. "Odd, but not what I'm looking for..." he groaned as he found the file. "No way... it's... it's true..." his eyes widen as he found the file and pictures of the dead exorcist angel's severed head. "Ice Cave base security footage?" He clicked.

"You want my soul? Earn it..." Phantom said on the camera of the catacombs as Nitro and Ravage unsheathed their weapons for a fight. "What is that?..." Seviathan watched as red lighting appeared in his hands. "How does some mortal get that?" Seviathan asked while he burned through other videos and pictures of Phantom fighting the angel. "I'll... need to study you..." he narrowed his eyes at the images of The Phantom.

FEILD WAREHOUSE.

"Apparently this place is a black market that Edge ran. Handled business here. Even we didn't know about it." Phantom said in the night snow, leaning against his car on the road as he watched the building in front of him. "What are you expecting to find here?" Charlie asked. "Too much time has passed for anyone to still be here, that much is clear. But maybe I can find a trail..." he fired his grapple over the building and flew through the air.

The skylight of the warehouse shattered as Phantom landed down onto the buildings cold floor. "Great. I missed another party..." Phantom noted as looked over the warehouse as snow fell over himself, and the blood on the floor. "Oh, my... what happened here?" Charlie asked while Phantom wiped dried blood samples off the floor on his fingers. "About to find out..." he started a scan from his helmet. "Silas Price. AKA Edge. And heavily wounded..." he said as he noticed that all the blood was Edge's. "What happened? A meeting turned bad?" Charlie asked. "Very bad..." he noticed the blood trailed off towards the warehouse shutter door.

"Edge was injured." He walked over to the shutter door and lifted it up to the cold snowy city outside. "And taken..." he looked over blood in the snow, footprints, and tire tracks. "Dagger!" Phantom shouted, calling his drone down to him his arm, followed slowly by three of his hell hounds from around an alleyway. "Follow this new trail, and report back. Go!" He ordered. Dagger stretched out his mechanical wings and flew off. His hounds sniffed the blood and tire tracks, and howled powerfully and ran off after Dagger. "So, uh. Is Dagger and the hounds like your best friends?" Charlie asked while Phantom entered

"They are perfectly crafted weapons of war. That's all." He said as noticed a wall with a brown drape over it. "Oh, no, no, no! I saw how you talked to them earlier! Those things are definitely pets! Why do you seem more attached to them than people?" Charlie asked. "I don't know? They're simpler." He ripped the drape off of the wall. "Just what I was suspecting..." Phantom said. "Whoever Edge is against... was the real one in charge..." He looked over a photo pyramid. On the bottom was nothing but territory. Then, a line of right hands. Cutter included. Then a roaster of a five crime lords, all under one command. Valentino, Velvette, Vox, Crimson, and Edge. And the photo on the top of the pyramid, one who must've been truly calling the shots, was ripped off from the wall.

"Uh... what does this mean?" Charlie asked, taking in every detail of the wall. "Edge was never in charge of all this... you see all this? Edge used this building to asses the entire crime syndicate. He was just another second. Like crimson, and like The Vees. He was following orders. The man he was meeting? THAT is who's in charge. Now, what happened here must've been one of two things. Option one, Edge called his boss here to try take him out, and take over. Option two, the alpha of this pack found out what Edge was up to, called him here, and is now handing out punishment..." Phantom explained while he tightly clenched his fist. Charlie noted how aggressive he sounded. And he seemed enraged.

"If Edge wasn't in charge, there's only person I know who could rule of all this. One man..." Phantom growled with hate. "Who?" Charlie asked quietly as Phantom stormed out into the snow and jumped into his car as the cockpit slammed shut. "A monster..." he said as he burned off into the snow, following the tire tracks.
