Klaus couldnt stop the pain. She is gone, the love of my life is gone. We were to be married and I promised her the world but now she is dead he thought. He kicked down the hotel door "Elijahhh, help her" he shouted. He laid her down on the floor as Elijah whispered " Caroline?". Klaus saw a tear escape from his eye. Elena walked over shirtless with one of her bra straps slanted. " Care? Oh my god, Oh my ggodd," she said loosing her breath and collapsing onto her knees. "Niklaus who is responsible for this" Elijah said while looking over at Caroline's dead body and his lower lip slightly trembling. Klaus was hugging his legs sitting against the door feeling so much pain and responded in a growl "Marcel did this. MARCEL DID THIS TO ME!! HE TOOK HER AWAY" He said waving a finger at Caroline's body. He couldnt stop his grief and dug his face into his knees. This is impossible you cant be gone, I loved you to much, please dont leave me now Klaus thought and let out another sob and flashes of their time together went through his mind

Her Birthday
When he figured out he loved her
The time they danced at the ball, the 20's dance

When he saved her from Alaric
Assuring that she was safe and that nothing would hurt her

When they almost woke everyone up when they confessed their feelings

When she woke up in his arms, with that beautiful smile

The tears in her eyes after his speech and said yes
Tears pooled in Klaus's eyes as she said yes

Flashback

"So sorry were you guys planning a wedding" Marcel said with a smirk and whooshed away. They fell to the ground while he laid her in his lap" No no no no Caroline, CAROLINE!" he said while shaking her shoulders" No, your not dead. We are going to have the most beautiful wedding and I will take you all around the world like I promised. How about Tokyo first? Huh?" He said sobbing. He hugged her gray corpse, that no longer glowed. Klaus felt his heart tearing apart. His tears poured harder than the rain that fell all over the bridge. He gently kissed her one last time and quickly caught Elijah's scent and sped over to the hotel

End of Flashback

Earlier that day in New Orleans

Klaus decided to meet up with Elijah
after he preposed to Caroline in a near by bridge, then return to New Orleans and kill Marcel

Klaus had spent the whole day looking for the perfect dress. He loved the idea of wearing the same dress in which she got preposed to and says her vows in. Klaus walked down the streets of New Orleans and bumps into a guy almost taller than him " Klauss! My sire! What on Earth are you doing here in New Orleans?" Marcel said with a smile " Oh nothing just traveling...you know business to attend to" Klaus responded with a fake smile. " And apparently dress shopping?" Marcel said with a laugh "Rebekah wanted a dress for her Prom and wanted the most beautiful I could find" Klaus said rolling his eyes. " I better go, you know how woman are with their dresses" Klaus said whooshing away. Uggh I cant wait to kill this Son of a Bitch Marcel thought.

Marcel followed Klaus to his home where he his behind a bush as he saw Klaus with a Blond over his shoulder

"Klauss" Caroline said with a laugh "Stopp it and put me down" she screeched. " Caroline my love, I will behave if you wear the dress" Caroline dropped her arms " FINE, now put me down" she said gritting her teeth. Marcel watched as her set her down and cupped her face" I love you" he said kissing her " I love you to" she said kissing his nose. " Now shall we? Italy is far and the sooner we get there, the better" Klaus said while the both hopped into his car. A smirk grew on Marcel's face while he figured out a plan. His thoughts broke when he saw Klaus pulling a small navy blue box oit of his pocket and opened it. He nodded and smiled at the ring, assuring himself that Caroline is the one. Even better, he really DOES love her Marcel thought as he whooshed away.
