I walked back home when she was finished.
"Welcome back,Boss!" Uvo greeted.
I looked around.Everyone acted as if nothing happened earlier.
"Why were you defending her?" Machi stared at me with her furious eyes.
"None of your concern." I smiled. "Why do you even care?I thought your feelings for me ended?"
"They did." She snapped." Why her.Out of all the women in the world.You had to choose her."
I walked over to Machi.I stared into her deep blue eyes.
"She has something that you..." I whisper in her ear. "Don't."
Machi pushed me away.I watched her head out.I sat down and started to read my book.
"A little harsh,don't you think?" Nobunaga chuckled.
"Not really." I sighed. "It's just how woman are."
Machi's POV
I'll kill her!She'll pay for humiliating me.All the things that I did to make her furious.Just backfired on me.She'll pay.
