Prologue

Giovanni is what you would call a kingpin. His grandfather and father before him were drug lords. Although he was still in high school it was only natural for him to take over the family business. Just like his father he is a very controlling man, and when he wants something he'll find a way to get it and nothing will get in his way.

Anaya Williams has always been a shy girl but if she knew you well enough you see a side of her made you love her. Even though she had a good amount of friends and a nice family she always felt like she was missing out on life. She always felt invisible all throughout high school up until her senior year, when one night changes everything.
