Take Him to Court!

My aunty leads the man and I upstairs into Abby's office.

'Ok, so Ms Gisoni has requested to take these issues to court', the man said.

'Ok, what is she going to get out of it?', my aunty says.

'She is charging him for stalking and personal invasion. She is also suing for abuse. If she wins her case then Mr Ziegler will be fined and maybe even kept in jail for a longer sentence seeing as right now he is only there temporarily. But this is where you come into it Miss Ziegler, you can stop this if you want. Your parents do not have to go to court if you decide because you and your sister are the center of all this. We can just file a closed divorce and move on and there will be nothing your parents can say, if you want to end it now.'

'What do you want, Maddie?', my aunty says.

'I don't want anyone to hurt', I feel my eyes start watering. But then I gain back my strength. 'No, actually, I want my parents to go to court. This man cannot hurt me and my family and get away with it! He may be my biological father but he was never a Dad.'

And with that I stand up, nod and walk proudly back downstairs. Man, I feel like the president!
