It’s been two days since we arrived in San Diego and Uncle Ben was thrilled to see Stella. We hung out like what a normal family would do. Nothing much happened anyways. During those two days, Josh was nowhere in sight. He is a busy man now. He works at some shipping company and rarely goes home. I miss him, to be honest. I was sitting at the dinning table with my legs lifted up to my chest, bored out of my mind. I was scanning through today’s newspaper, not reading it but looking at the pictures and its description instead. Then I heard the door click open, “I’m home!”

I know that voice. I stood up and scrambled towards the door, “About time you get home, Josh!”

“Ally? What are you doing here?” He pecked my forehead,

“Yea. I miss you too, cousin.”

He chuckled, “What brings you here?”

            “Can’t I see my cousin?”

            “I’m sorry, I’ve been busy.”

Andy smiled and bounced Stella, “Who? This little cutie here?”

            “Yea, who’s that?”

“…” Andy waited for him to guess,

“No way.” Josh gaped, “That’s the Stella I’ve always wanted to see?”

            “Mmhm.”

Josh rushed to Stella, “Holy crap, dude. You actually had a baby. You actually had sex and produced this.”

“I had a hard time believing it too.”

“Josh, you’re back!” Uncle Ben showed up,

“Hey, dad. Have you seen Stella?”

“They’ve been here for two days, sport.”

“I got home right in time.”

Josh gingerly picked Stella up and cradled her, “Hey.”

“Is anyone hungry?” Riley popped her head from the kitchen, “Hey, you’re back!”

“I’m back!” Josh chuckled, “She looks just like her father.”

“Yea.” Andy flicked his eyebrows. As they all headed to the dinning room, I escaped into the bathroom. I closed the door and sat on the toilet. Ryan was calling,
