I took Cubbie’s suitcase, opened it and flicked it. Then I moved on to the next room, which is Pontius’s. I opened his suitcase, scooped his clothes up and threw them everywhere. Then I moved on to Isom, whose wallet I went through and hid the cash. I did the same to Mark and Sean’s and made sure that their rooms were a total shipwreck. Nate and I then snuck to the living room and messed the whole pantry and the living room. I must admit, doing all this has drained all of my energy, considering that I was starting to get tipsy from too much beer. I ripped a piece of paper and wrote a note,

Dear gentlemen,

Ally and Nate are okay. If you wish to see them again, contact Ally’s number. For the mean time, I will take good care of them. Good luck

I tried to make my handwriting as manly as possible, so they had no clue that I did it. I pasted the note on the refrigerator and grabbed Nate’s hand, “Let’s go, buddy!”

He giggled, “Let’s go!” We snuck outside the house and went to Andy’s parked car with the headlights off. I opened the back door and let Nate in first,

            “Hi, Nate.” Andy greeted,

            “Hi… Uh… Um…”

            He chuckled, “Andy.”

            “Hi, Andy.”

I slid inside and quietly closed the door, “Hey. Where’s the crew?”

“Change of plans, they’ll be here in a few days.”

“Mommy’s going to be here too?” Nate asked,

“Yea, she’s going to give your dad a surprise.” I explained, “Everyone will be there.”

His sleepy face brightened, “This is humungous!”

            I chuckled, “I know.”

“Nate, I need your help, buddy.” Andy turned to face us, “I want you to scream as loud as you can when I tell you to, okay?”

            He nodded, “I’ll try.”

I opened the window and let Nate crawl onto my lap, “Drive, Andy.”

            Andy nodded, “Do it!”

And then Nate screamed on top of his lungs until my ears rung, “DAAADDDDYYYYY!”

Andy laughed as we accelerated away from the house, “Now we just need to wait for a phone call.”

“So you’re going to use your Indian Apache voice?” I asked, “I miss that voice.”

“Yea, I will.” He nodded, “They know my voice so I have no other choice.”

“Oh look, Cubbie Fink is calling! That’s pretty much a record.”

“Okay, mouths shut.” He warned and pulled over. At a time like this, safety is still our first priority. Remember, do not answer phone calls when driving.

“Remember your Indian Apache voice.” I reminded,

“Hello?” Andy answered with the voice.

Nate snickered, but I clamped my hand to shut his mouth. Then I was about to start laughing, but he clamped his hand on my mouth. So we are basically shutting each other’s mouths.
