2 years later

"Whoa hot mama"

I scolded Nick as I sat down on the beach chair with a huff.

"I think I'm bigger now than I was with Kamille" I rubbed my stomach that held my little bundle of joy inside.

"Maybe because my little man is gonna be big and strong, isn't that right" Nicklaus said against my stomach, making Nicolas move.

We decided to name him Nicolas Trent Long. Trent was brought to tears when we told him we wanted to name the baby with his name in it.

Now me and my small family were on the beach having a good time.

Kamille and Taylor are playing in the sand, Trent and Jennifer were in the ocean splashing each other, my dad and Ranae were walking along the water hand and hand, and Nicklaus and I are sitting next to each other relaxed.

We were laughing when I all of a sudden felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen, I groaned loudly and everyone came running to me in a flash. Next thing I knew I was surrounded by everyone.

"Baby are you okay?" Nick said concerned

"Yeah, just a contraction"

"Are you going into labor" he said excited.

"No I don't..." I couldn't finish my sentence because it was cut off with another contraction and my water breaking.

"We need to get you to the hospital. Now" Nicklaus picked me up and walked swiftly yet careful not to jiggle me so much.

We made it to the hospital in no time, and now I was breathing ragged cause the contractions were coming every 2 minutes now.

"He's ready to get out of there" Nick said and I couldn't help but laugh a little that was shortly cut off by another contraction.

"And I'm ready for him to come out"

"Me too"

"He's beautiful" Nicklaus said with much pride in his voice.

Nicklaus sat down on the bed next to me so I could see my beautiful baby boy.

6 pounds 4 ounces, a head full of jet black hair, he looked just like Nicklaus except he had my light brown eye color. He is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't stop looking at my beautiful baby boy.

"Oh goodness"

"What?"

"He's gonna be a womanizer like his daddy" Nicklaus chuckled at my statement.

"Well maybe he will find a woman as amazing as his mother one day" he looked me dead in the eyes with so much love and affection.

"I love you"

"I love you too" he kissed me softly on the lips and I fell in love with him even more.

There was a knock at the door then everyone walked in: My dad, Ranae, Trent, Jennifer holding Taylor, Kamille, and surprisingly Nicks parents.

"Mom, dad, what are y'all doing here" Nick handed me the baby and walked towards his parents.

"We came to make amends" said he father

"We are so sorry for all the years wasted being stubborn, if it's okay with you and McKenna, we would like to get to know our grandkids. And you two as well"

I could feel the tension leave Nicks body and he smiled with a new smile I've never seen before, "Of course y'all can"

"Kamille wanna hold Nicolas" -Kenna

"YES!"

She hopped up on the bed and sat between my legs on top of the cover.

I laid the baby in her arms making sure she had him correctly.

"Hey I'm your big sister, I'm going to take real good care of you, and teach you how to fight just as good as me. Well maybe not as good."

Everyone in the room laughed and I couldn't help but look at Nick, the love of my life.

I smiled when I thought of how my mom must be smiling down at me. I love you mom...

I finally got everything I've been searching for. An amazing family, a home, and most of all someone to call mine and spend the rest of my life with.

I can finally say I LOVE my life...
