When I made my first account on Wattpad years ago, I read a story that had 90 votes and I really wished it were my story. So, I started a story and deleted it (I FAIL) a couple months after because the whole objective of writing it was off and I wasn't having fun with it.
I still have problems thinking stuff like "how would others want it written", but for the last two chapters I've written, I put everything to the side. I still hope the story is enjoyable to everyone, but I realize that I need to like my own story.
