Poem IV

I lay in bed,

With a heavy head,

Stare at the ceiling,

Begging,

Praying,

Let me be,

Let me free!

That evil scale,

Makes me feel like a whale,

That mocking mirror,

Is a window to my fear,

I'll plug my ears,

I don't want to hear!

She's full of greed,

And ignores my pleads,

I beg to be released,

I beg to be freed!

The dark veil,

That covers my trail,

She will not fail,

She disguises my wail,

There will be no freedom,

Until I enter His kingdom.
