Their laughter, as it fills my ears
Only brings me closer to my tears
And the joy the joy that they share
Only reminds me that I can't care
As I see each one of their grins
I take one step closer towards the grim
I stare off into the silent
blackness
And pray that God will remove this bitter
sadness
I see their faces alight with a happy glow
So I slowly turn around and go

This one is about struggling with depression. I had originally written it for one of my close friends who struggles with depression and posted it on my other account, but that got deleted and I decided to put it under my own name.
