"So... what happened today?" A waitress said. Wet towel in hand she washed the counter top.

"A game. Just a game." He sipped his coffee and sighed contently.

"Hmm?"

"It was just a game. Nothing to be sad about." He repeated.

"Oh, well you can tell me you know." She could tell from his word choice.

"What do you mean?" His eyes looked at her with a hint of confusion.

"What do you really feel Coffee Boy?"

He stared at her for a while. Then he shut his eyes and smiled to himself. "You're very observant."

"No, I just know when you're upset. So tell me."

"I feel hurt. Very."

"Why so?"

"That girl. She passed by me. No acknowledgement." He bluntly stated. He tried to gulp his cup down to avoid questions.

"So you want to be noticed?"

"Mmm... yes." His face flushed.

She thougt for a few moments and smiled. "Then tell her."

"I already told you. I can't."

"You won't."

"I can't" he detested.

"Of course you can. Or, win her back. Get her back. Flirt." She wiggled her eyebrows.

He laughed a bit and replied in a low voice. "Thanks for the advice, but I'm not good at that."

"Of course you are, practice!"

"No." He pulled out tip and jumped out of the chair.

"Thanks."

"No problem Coffee Boy."
