your first date- minho (au)

For your first date, y'all went penny boarding. You were never really that great of friends, but you were both on the school track team so you talked a lot. He asked you out a couple weeks after you first met, and it was kind of random. Like really random. It went like this:
"Wow, you're really good at this." he says out of breath from the race that you just beat him in.
"You're not to bad yourself." you said with a smile, also out of breath since you had to push yourself to run faster than you ever have
"I left my phone in my locker." you said mentally cursing yourself "do you know what time-"
"Will you go out with me." he blurts out. Then freezes with wide eyes and drops his bottle of water, not even flinching when it hits the ground.
"Minho?" you ask, he's unresponsive
"Minho?" you ask again
"Sorry." he says slowly snapping out of what ever trance he was in.
"Yes." you say.
"What?" he asks sounding confused
"Yes. I will go out with you." you say.
"Oh!" he says and flings an arm around you going right back to his usual 'cool guy' act. "I knew you'd say yes. They always do." he says and you just giggle as he reaches up to fix his some how still perfect hair. You later decide to go penny boarding down town.
