Chapter Thirteen

KENDALL'S POV

I found Brendon in my laundry room stuffing sheets in the washing machine. 

"Did they..."

"Yeah" he said. 

"Were they safe?"

"Oh yeah" he said "I looked in the trash can"

"You creeper" I joked. 

"Am not!" he replied. 

"Well I guess I'm proud of them for finally doing it"

"Why?" he asked. 

"Because they're so cute!"

"So you've said. Where are they now?"

"In the car, we're all waiting for you" I told him. 

"Oh, I'll just get these going and meet you guys out there"

"You're such a good boyfriend...and best friend. Cleaning up after their sexcapades"

"Well I had to listen to it while I ate breakfast so..."

"I know" I said "Let's go"

He pushed the start button on the washing machine and we left the house. Peyton was in the driver's seat so Brendon and I sat in the back and we left to meet up with Spencer and Jon. 

When we got to the zoo, finding parking was tough so we let Ryan and Peyton out so that they could buy tickets for us to get in and everything while Brendon and I parked the car. 

"You realize that leaving them alone is basically grounds for walking up to a make out?" Brendon asked. 

"Oh I know. I'd be concerned if they didn't make out every five minutes. They're so--"

"Cute, I know"

"I was going to say in love..." I said. 

"Well that too. I guess I'm glad he's happy" Brendon admitted. 

"I know you are" I smiled. 

We walked from the parking lot to the zoo entrance where Spencer and Jon were already being introduced to Peyton. They were laughing so I guess she passed the test of friendship.

"Hey" she smiled at Brendon and I. 

We all went into the park to start the adventure. Peyton was so fascinated by how big the zoo was here. Ryan thought it was cute how she would flail over the baby koalas or the goats in the petting zoo. 

"Ry, you should take her through the ocean exhibit while we check out the giraffes" Spencer said. 

"Oh yeah!" Jon added "So fun"

"Will do. See you guys later" Ryan said as he took Peyton by the hand and they walked away. She always stood so close to him, it was adorable.
