Things Have Changed For Me [SEQUEL TO FORM A MOUNTAIN]

Chapter Fourteen

Ryan and I walked through the zoo, passing more baby animals or souvenir carts. He stopped to buy me a koala necklace and I loved it. 

"I wish you could transfer schools" he told me. 

"Oh yeah, a two hour drive to get to school every day, yum" I joked. 

"I know you really can't but it would be so amazing to have to around all the time. I rattle my brain every day figuring out how we're going to make this work. I don't want us to have to break up!"

"RYAN ROSS" I said firmly "There is nothing on this earth that could ever make me stop seeing you. Got it?"

"Got it" he smiled. 

The ocean exhibit was actually amazing. There was a tunnel that we walked through and fish swam all around us behind the glass. I laughed when a fish made a little kissy face at me. I blew a little kiss back before the fish swam away. 

"You're adorable" Ryan told me. "You and your little fishy face"

He kissed me quick before we kept walking through the tunnel. We got to a darker part where there were sharks and jelly fish. Sharks scared me and I knew they couldn't get at us but I was still nervous, I didn't want to tell Ryan though but when a big hammerhead swam by I screamed and ran out of the tunnel. He chased after me and found me hyperventilating on a bench. 

"Babe what happened?" he asked. 

"I...hate...sharks" I said through my large puffs of air. 

"Oh" he said, sitting next to me "You should have told me, we could have skipped that part or I could have held you"

He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me close to him. I almost started crying but I contained the tears. I rested against him as he supportively rubbed my back. He lifted my chin and gave me a small kiss to make me feel better. I smiled and we got up off the bench. My legs shook a little from the remaining fear but he kept a protective arm around my waist as we walked to meet back up with the group. 

"You okay, Pey?" Kendall asked "You look pale..."

"Shark tank" I sputtered. 

"Scared of sharks?" Brendon asked me. 

"Terrified" I replied "Completely and utterly terrified"

"Aww come here" Kendall said. She wrapped me into a hug too.

"I calmed her down" Ryan added. 

"Such a good boyfriend!" Kendall squealed. 

"Good boyfriend my ass!" Brendon added "Good people don't use their friend's guest bedroom for morning--"

"BRENDON!" Kendall smacked him "We do not discuss our friends sexual life in public!"

Ryan and I were both blushing, I guess we were pretty loud this morning. 

"GUEST ROOM HOOK UP!" Spencer and Jon laughed. 

"We're going to go have lunch...alone" Ryan said. He took my hand and we ran away for food. 

"Oh god, your friends think I'm a whore!" I said. 

"It's kind of hard to be a whore when you've only had sex once..." Ryan said. "Well we went like four rounds but you get the point"

"I'm not even hungry anymore" I stated. 

"We don't have to eat now. Let's just go walk around some more"

"Okay" I smiled and we did just that.
