Shadow stood there, dumbfounded. He turned to ask Tikal if she was honest but found she'd already left. With a quiet sigh, he slithers into the bedroom.
"Y-You want...you wanted to stay? Even after what I did to you?"
Sonic stares at him, fear masked his face as he trembles as the large naga inches his way closer. He flinches when he pressed a gentle grasp under his chin. Tiny tears weal up in the corners of his eyes, his lip quivering.
"N-No! Please! P-Please don't cry!" Shadow stutters frantically as he quickly clears the tears away."I've hurt you enough, p-please don't cry."
Sonic feels the fear paralyze him when Shadow pulls him into a warm embrace, instinct tell him to fight back. Something else says pull him closer.
Pull him closer. Pull him closer. Just pull him closer. Just a little. Just a little closer.
Against his will he finds his hands traveling up to Shadow's chest. He accepts it, hoping they'll push the monster away.
They don't.
