Justice:

The last 2 months have been crazy. Jake has been super busy with patrol and I've been busy with school. Bella's bloodsucker is back. Apparently he thought Bella was dead and went to kill himself in Italy but Bella stopped him. The only good thing about her leech and his family coming back is, Bella is finally leaving Jake alone.

I'm still not really talking to my mom. I leave early before she wakes up and by the time I get home, she's already out for the night. Same with Mark.

I'm laying in bed when I get a call from Jake asking me to meet him at Sam and Emily's house.

As much I would love to see my boyfriend, I really don't want to have to get dressed and put makeup on. I groan as I put on my leggings, uggs, and one of Jake's sweaters.

Once I get to Sam and Emily's house, this isn't a regular pack meeting or dinner; everyone is serious. I walk in quietly and sit next to Quil who had recently joined the pack.

"what's going on?" I whisper as Sam and Billy argue about something

"there's an army of leeches coming. Apparently to kill Bella." he whispers back

"Why does that involve the pack?" I scoff

"it's our job to keep the humans of Forks and La Push safe. That includes Bella." he explains

Jake walks in and looks pissed off. Bella trailing behind him.
Anger bubbles up in my gut and my chest gets tight.

"Alice says we have about 2 weeks until they come." Bella explains

"who's they? Do we even know who's coming?" I ask, hoping this is just one of Bella's grabs for attention

"We think it's a vampire named Victoria. She's coming to kill me because Edward killed her mate James." she explains

"So you're willing to risk my boyfriend and friends' lives because you're bloodsucking boyfriend fucked up?" I snap

Jake looks at me with a proud look on his face

Bella looks taken back, making me mentally pat myself on the back.

"It doesn't matter what happen or who it is. We need to protect the people of Forks and La Push; if that includes the Cullens, then so be it." Sam says

"So what's the plan?" Embry asks

"We have training with the Cullens. They're going to help us." Sam explains, "We need to head over right now, then we'll come up with a battle plan from there."

We all turn to leave but Jake stops me at the door.

"You need to stay here." Jake says

"What? No. I want to be there with you."

"Baby, I don't trust the Cullens. I don't care how good they seem to be. They're still leeches. You'll be safe here." Jake says firmly

"Safe?" I question, I thought this was all about Bella being safe.

"There's a leech on the run. The same one I smelt on you after the movies. He was in Bella's room. He could go after you." Jake explains
