"I smell... Curry!!! Cubbie cooked curry!!" Eagle exclaimed as they entered Alex's house and he zoomed straight into the kitchen. Wolf rolled his eyes at his unit member's childish behaviour. Ben shut the door behind them, being the last one in. The unit walked into the kitchen to see Alex standing over a pot of curry and Eagle was sitting obediently on the outside of the island, facing Alex. "Hey brat." Wolf greeted playfully. Alex glared back in a playful manner before turning back to the pot. "So where's your boyfriend?"
"He went out to buy some things, should be back soon." As if on cue, the door opened to reveal Yassen, he kicked the door close and padded into the kitchen. He nodded his greeting at the unit before hugging Alex from behind. Eagle made a pretend gagging noise and Alex threw a knife at him, it whizzed by him and embedded into the wall next to his head. Eagle let out a little squeak of surprise and saw a few strands of his hair floating in front of him. "Serves you right Eagle." Fox gasped out, laughing and clutching his stomach.
"How was your mission?" Eagle asked, trying to keep his mouth slightly closed when he spoke as he practically inhaled the food. Alex thought about it as he chewed before he swallowed. "Fine I guess. If you don't consider the part that it wasn't an actual mission." Alex said with a shrug.
"It wasn't?" Yassen asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No. It was revenge." Alex admitted, looking up from his food.
"For?"
"The master... He was my teacher, a very wise teacher. Since Scorpia is falling apart, a few are acting on their own. They killed my master and so I killed them. I swore it on the sword, so I killed them with the sword." Alex said nonchalantly, jerking his head at the sword lying on the table that had another sword on a stand.
"... I suppose you guys are close?" Snake asked.
"I knew him since I was young, he taught me many things but most importantly, he taught me to keep my word and never back down." Alex said, probing his food a little before scooping a mouthful of it into his mouth.
"And that was what you did," Yassen said quietly, only for the teen to hear, "he'll be proud of you."
"But he never wanted me to kill." Alex said, turning his head slightly to Yassen.
"You followed his teachings, he wouldn't reprimand you for that. You have to know that he also wouldn't want you to beat yourself up about it just because one of it wasn't his teachings." Yassen said, holding the child's gaze. Right now the teen looked cold and indifferent but Yassen could tell he was kicking himself about not following word for word of his teacher's teaching. Alex sighed and nodded, trying to stop himself from doing what Yassen has just said his teacher wouldn't want him to do. "I have a question." Eagle directed it at Alex after a few minutes of comfortable silence.
"Shoot." Alex prompted.
"Why did the guy in the office call you young master?" That question earned a small smirk/chuckle from Alex.
"It was a weird situation though. I am skilled martial arts and using all the staffs/swords because of master. I was able to learn very quickly because of my good memory and my determination to learn, according to him. I was able to beat him once or twice from pure split second openings. People started calling me young master because I was almost as good as the grand master, except I was way younger. I thought it was just a nickname, like a joke, but they kept calling me that and never stopped then eventually the grandmaster himself called me young master. Hence, that concludes how I became the young master." Alex finished, he looked up and noticed Eagle's expression.
"You're going to start calling me young master aren't you?" Alex asked in resignation and Eagle nodded quickly as he stood up to clear the plates. "I probably have to go to the temple to check on the grand master's disciples and meet the new grandmaster." Alex said, standing near the door, leaning against the counter. The unit has insisted they do the washing up so he ended up standing there to get out of their way. "And we need to get back to Wales or should I say Hell on Earth." Eagle said, sighing.
"You coming with me Yassen?" Alex asked, hoping he would and that he doesn't have an assignment. Yassen smiled and nodded when he noticed the hopeful look. Yassen leaned down to kiss Alex, pressing him to the counter.
"Not in here! Out! Living room, whatever!" Snake chastised them playfully, shooing them out. Yassen smirked, picking Alex up and throwing him over his shoulder, earning a yelp in surprise from Alex. K-unit shook their heads at the assassins that is now bickering with each other, debating about whether Yassen should let him down or not.
"Let me down." Alex said.
"Fine." Yassen finally agreed... Agreed far too quickly, Alex narrowed his eyes in suspicion as he was dropped onto the couch roughly. Yassen pinned him down before he started probing Alex on his sides. Alex bit his lips to keep his laughter in as he wriggled and twisted under Yassen's elegant fingers that were tickling him, not hesitating. "Surrender."
"No!" Alex said, gritting his teeth.
"Surrender or suffer." Yassen's hot breath tickling his ears as he breathed out the words, Alex could literally hear his smirk. Alex shook his head as he tried swatting away Yassen's hands but they always found a way back to his ticklish spots. That was how K-unit found them, having a silent battle and seeing who would give in first. Alex was at a disadvantage here as he was being tickled, he wriggled and thrashed as he tried to get away. Yassen was smirking as he watched the teen fondly.
"Stop it." Alex gasped out.
"Make me." Yassen challenged and was immediately in a lip lock with Alex. He pulled Yassen in by the jacket quickly to catch him off guard. Yassen fell against the boy, landing heavily as he easily weighed more than twice the boy's weight. Alex didn't seem to care as he made out with Yassen, jumping in shock with he heard a soft thud. He pushed himself up to see K-unit standing there awkwardly, half glaring at Eagle and Fox. They had tripped over themselves and barely caught themselves. "Sorry." Eagle squeaked and Alex was biting his lips, his cheeks tinged with to a nice rosy shade. Yassen had to restrain himself from not jumping onto the teen and smother him with kisses. "We, uh, we should go. You guys continue, okay?" Wolf said as he pushed at the unit to get out.
"Use protection!" Eagle just had to yell that out didn't he? Alex groaned and covered his face in embarrassment as the door clicked shut and was locked immediately by the security features of the house. "Shall we continue or do you want to continue covering your face?" Yassen teased, making Alex let out a breath of laughter and pulled him close for a kiss.
