1. Introduction:

Hello, there, stranger whom I soon hope to know.

As in a poetic form, my description flows.

I'm Jhalak Sanghavi, a silly girl with lots of ambitions.

And the least of expectations.

If you want a high dose of optimism,

Approach me, be it any season.

My first love is music, writing is the second one.

Both of them when put together, are super fun.

Some believe in destiny, some believe in fate.

But I believe that happiness is something we create.

Wattpad is my biggest addiction.

2. Why I become an Ambassador:

To be honest, I used to be a serious student who had no other dream but to score good marks and make her parents proud.

When I was newly introduced to wattpad, I found myself lost in this orange world. Just like a blind person would close his eyes for a second, looking at the brightness around him, I took a step back by deciding to keep my account idle for a while. If not for my cousin @My_Little_Secret_) guiding me here, I'd never have come out to be what I am today.

After 6 months, I gave a first shot to publishing my book on wattpad. I'm still overwhelmed and surprised by the response I got back then. If not for wattpad, I would never, let me stress this enough, never find the writer hiding in me. I never knew I had so much potential, I never knew someone could like my writing style, I never knew I could inspire someone.

Later, I began counselling suicidal people through PMs and it gave me a different kind of satisfaction, knowing they were smiling behind their mobile/ laptop screens.

Filled with gratitude, I wanted to give back to this community. Who said you need to do a job to be a part of wattpad? We've found a way for ourselves. I knew what I had to do. I filled the form, applied for becoming a wattpad ambassador and you can well guess what was their response.

So, you can sum it up by saying I became an ambassador to give back to wattpad and all its users like you and me since I was filled with gratitude, respect and responsibility towards the one who showed me, who made me realize that a simple person like me, too, could have big dreams for herself.

3. Projects that I'm crazy about and why:

Not mine, but I will talk about my favourite project on wattpad. It is @FreeYourBody started by @TahliePurvis.

Innumerable times in our life, we've come along scenes when a person is judged by his/ her body, by his/ her looks. Why play the blame game, we've all been a part of this, haven't we?

At times, such a discrimination is positive but majority of the times, our eyes are habituated to pick out the flaws in people, either to put them down or to believe we're superior to them in some manner. It's funny, scary even, as to how we judge the life of a person entirely by the two-minute eye contact with their external, physical characters.

I strongly believe that our body is not something we carry to please the society but to satisfy ourselves. If I like to eat cheese, I will - no matter how many people tell me later that I've grown fat - because I like it and it's me who will face the consequences, not them, so, they don't have the right to matter, anyway.

We judge people by their IQ, their actions... Isn't all of that enough? Why do we need to create a new discriminating factor? Fat, skinny, black, white... Let's get over the externalities and realize the core fact that people remember you by your works, not your size.

What ultimately matters is what you give back to the universe that has bestowed so much upon you. If you know your heart is pure, nothing else should matter to you. Yes, I know this is a difficult task, but isn't a mutual give and take? Don't judge and don't be judged. If each of us decides to be right, what could possibly go wrong?

4. Lol: 

Mother (in the hospital, holding her just-born baby) - I think I'll name her Sarah.

Person - I'm sorry but that name is already taken. However, you can still have Sarah343 or Sarah_12.

5. Wattpad:

Wattpad... I bet you don't need to hear about it from my perspective because to be honest, all of us reciprocate similar feelings in this matter. You, me and all the ambassadors, as they have correctly stated, we all love wattpad and that's simply one of the strongest reasons we're stuck here together, in this orange world.

But since it's wattpad, I'd like to share this poem I had written long back for my first and only love... There's a writer and there's a story. With my phone and blanket, I get all cozy.

Dreaming about writing, about how people see it. I wanted to take a step to change the way people thought of it.

An amazing idea, an entrepreneur, a site and some employees All of them made 18 million people rejoice.

We all love it, don't we? We already imagine it on the top, an amazing app for free!

I now love the colour orange, I love the theme. I love it's logo... It has made possible so many writers dreams.

I don't know what to say, I'm filled with gratitude. It has certainly given my writings new altitudes.

I'm now confident, I'm now brave. I'm so happy such a wonderful creation finally came!

I don't know how to say, words aren't much. I'd like to thank it but I know that wouldn't be enough.

I feel like finally my dream came true. And this is possible just because of you.

With you around I can never be sad With you around I can never be mad.

And if you ask me it's name, I'll scream out... wattpad, wattpad, wattpad!
