Chapter 21:Alex

Lily had to leave today. I waved goodbye. I knew I would miss her more that I let her believe. I watched her pull out of the driveway. I fought the urge to stop her from leaving. Callie came up behind me. We has a short serious conversation. It left me beat. I might not be the smartest guy out there but I'm not stupid I could tell something was wrong. I let her get away with it though. He was screaming at me to ask her more and find out what it is. I didn't listen to him, he doesn't control me. She went into the yard I stayed on the steps. I sat down watching some kids down the street play. They were so young so happy. They had nothing to worry about not scars from being stabbed in the back. There is a saying that true friends will stab you in the front. One was about 16 and he was watching them. He was tall skinny and blonde. He had piercings in his lips. he didn't fit in with the kids. They were all happy and content. The boy looked like he was tired. I heard him tell the kids it was time to go inside for lunch. Am I a creep. That was weird that my attention just happened to fall on a small group of kids. I'm not entirely sure this is normal. I stood up and went up the stairs. I passed a couple people on the way up. I almost ran into Ophy going into Callie's room. I didn't hate him but I don't think he likes me to much. Let me rephrase that I know he hates me, He glares at me whenever we're in the same room. I went into my room. I don't know what else to do. I don't wanna talk to anyone because Spencer hates me. Callie's busy I'm sure. Who else do I have to talk to. I layed in the bed and just thought about things. I should probably find my necklace. that might help me out in some situations. I sighed and rolled off of the bed. I started down the stairs. I barely even touched the steps. The front door opened literally hitting me in the face. Is my life a cartoon? I swear my life is a cartoon. I got up and looked at who hit me with the door. I looked up to see Spencer wheezing for air. I stood up checking to see if my nose was bleeding, yeah it was. I wiped the blood across Spencer's face

"What was that for?" He asked

"for laughing" He rolled his eyes. My nose refused to stop bleeding. So I went into the bathroom I eventually stopped the bleeding but there was blood all over the bathroom. I started to clean it up when someone knocked on the door. I walked out like nothing happened. Sara was standing there 'does she pop up every time you do something embarrassing?' He said Okay I'm gonna make this guy a name. how's Tyler? 'no that's a gay name, I'm Aries' My jaw would have dropped but I kinda expected it in a way. I sat on the couch and started to watch Tv with Gabe and Spencer. When sara came out of the bathroom she started talking to Virgo.I tried to listen in which was easy because neither of them know the other side of the door trick.

"So evidently Alex was bleeding when he went in there" Vergo nodded and smiled

"It was just a simple nosebleed." She remarked pulling the cookies out of the oven.

"Okay good cause I clean it up for him, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't like vomit blood cause that would be bad." Virgo shook her head

"just a nosebleed." I bit my lip I'll owe her one. I went into the kitchen

"Would you like a cookie?" Virgo asked I shook my head

"No I'm good."

"alright" sara stood there awkwardly. I went outside it was pitch black out. I kept walking forward until I fell into a chair okay. I looked up at the stars. what month is it. Maybe I could find one of the signs. I watched them so contently. They almost looked like they were staring back at me. There was no moon and it was still a rather bright night. Hours passed just like this listening of the sounds of the city and the woods clash and watching the stars dance.
