I walked downstairs the next morning feeling particularly good, considering I had beds kidnapped and drugged. I took a seat at the breakfast table beside Alexa. She smiled at me brightly.
"How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Better." I said.
"Thank the Angel you're okay. We all were so worried." She said.
I smiled at her, she looked particularly beautiful today. I looked over at my father, who was smirking at us. I quickly looked away, and started to eat.
"What are we going to do about Lilith?" Scarlett frowned.
"She's going to come after me." I said."I don't know what to do."
Everyone stayed silent, and I sighed a bit. Once I was done, my mother practically forced me to go back and lay down, and it took me ten minutes to convince her that I was alright. After breakfast, we all went and sat in the living room. I sat beside my brother and Max.
"Aunt Clary, can tell us the story of how you met uncle Jace?" Alexa asked happily.
My mother laughed, and I smiled. Alexa always asked my mother this. She thought that it was adorable. Alexa was a hopeless romantic, even when she didn't like it admit. My mother then started to tell the story, and all listened. Throughout the story, my father would smile at her and she would blush. When she was finished, Alexa was smiling dreamily.
"That's so romantic." She said dreamily.
"It was." Aunt Isabelle agreed. "I had always thought so."
My mother smiled and blushed a bit.
"Mom, why can't you and dad have a love story like that?" Alexa said.
Aunt Isabelle laughed. "I don't think anyone's will ever be as good as Jace and Clary's."
"So, what about all of you?" My father smirked. "Are anyone you dating anyone? Except for Scarlett and Blake, of course."
Austin then cleared his throat. "Um yeah, Charlotte and I are dating." He mumbled.
My mother and aunt Tessa gasped in delight, and I smirked at Austin.
"What about you Lex?" My father raised an eyebrow, amusedly.
She blushed. "No."
"Good, you don't need to date anyone." Uncle Simon added.
"I agree! But Scarlett won't listen to me." My father frowned at her.
Aunt Izzy scoffed. "Oh, you two are too over protective. Scarlett and Alexa should be allowed to date. They're eighteen."
My father and uncle Simon started to mumble to themselves, and Scarlett and Alexa looked throughly embarrassed. I studied Alexa. She was wearing a black skirt and a white too, with high heel boots. She was so beautiful. I have to tell her I love her soon, I thought. I loved how she was brave and willing to risk beg life for the ones she loved.
Everyone always wondered why I had never dated anyone before. I mean, sure I had little flings here and there, but I had never had anything serious. I had never felt this deep about someone, until Alexa.
