Chapter 17: Close-call

-Gray's POV-

She's heavy...

"Gray, I like you."

Ah, why am I thinking about that? She was half-asleep and probably didn't mean it.

"Gray, I like you."

I could feel a coat of red beginning to form around my cheeks, but it was stopped as I felt a wet, water like substance seep into my shirt.

Disgusting. She's drooling now.

Ah, I can't be getting so distracted. I need to get her to the medical room.

After hearing a soft moan, I turned my head a little and saw her blue tresses escaping the grip of my shoulders and framing her face, as well as a gentle smile.

She's cuter when she's not talking.

"Gray."

...

Huh?

"Where are we?", she questioned, still in a drowsy state.

Shit.

"Why are you staring like that? It's embarrassing."

"Ah, you're dreaming. Go back to sleep.", I quickly told her.

As expected, she responded with a simple 'yes', and fell back asleep.

Phew. That was close.

I thought I was about to die.

More importantly, why am I blushing so hard? I need to drop her off quickly and leave.

Did I just think she was cute?
I think I must be tired or something. Yeah, that's it.

Time Skip

-Juvia's POV-

"Huh?", I woke to the smell of medicine.

The infirmary?

And why am I blushing so much? A good dream?

"Oh, Juvia. You're finally awake.", the nurse responded.

"Why am I here?", I questioned, running my gaze around the room in confusion.

"You don't remember? You fainted and a boy with black hair carried you here.", she replied calmly.

Black hair...

Gray?

"Ah, okay. Thanks."

Why do I feel like I missed something important?

Anyway, I seriously need to stop fainting. The infirmary will practically become my second home at this rate.

Sorry for such a long-break. I will be returning to this story shortly after my exams are over.
