Angela's POV

"Please, we beg you, make this confidential. 'Wag niyong sabihin sa media ang nangyari. He's still young. He can't handle such issues. At isa pa, kakausapin muna namin siya. We'll find out what really happened."

Tinitigan ko lang ang lalakeng nagmamakaawa sa akin ngayon. He's from the JYP company, one of the representatives perhaps. Kasama niya ang manager ni Wang Jackson na ngayon ay mukhang seryosong seryoso.

"Please, detective, he's also a foreigner. At may sakit rin ang mga magulang niya. It would be hard for him and for his family."

Bumuntong-hininga ako at saka tinalikuran sila. "Fine. But I won't promise you that nothing would come out. You know, media has its own ways. Baka gamitin nila sa blind item, o ano. We'll do our best." Hinarap ko sila at saka tumayo na sa upuan ko, "I have more things to do. You may go now."

Tumayo na rin sila at saka patuloy na nagbow ng paulit-ulit yung representative ng JYP.

That had me thinking. Who were they trying to save? Are they really trying to save Jackson from all the issues or are they just trying to save the company from having malicious rumors and comments? Either way, bahala na sila. Wala na akong pakialam doon.

I honestly couldn't believe what happened to Jimin. Although I'm most suspicious of him, ayoko namang mangyari rin yun sa kanya. Sa ngayon, nakabantay ang iilang pulis sa room ni Jimin sa ospital for his safety. Hindi naman sa iniisip naming may gagawin pang masama sa kanya si Jackson, but just to be sure.

I was lost in my thoughts nang biglang nagring ang phone ko. I was contemplating whether i should answer the call or not since hindi naman registered yung number but nonetheless, I still picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Angela Jeon," This voice. "Mikaela? Is this you?"

"I would have to interrogate you, Miss Angela Jeon," She said in a rather serious tone.

Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya. Interrogate me? "At ano naman ang itatanong mo sa'kin? Am I one of the suspects now?" Medyo pabalang kong sagot. I can only hear silence until I heard her sigh, "Let's meet at a cafe. I-sesend ko lang sayo ang address after I end this call."

Before I could even complain, binaba niya na ang tawag. For what cause will I be interrogated? Why am I panicking? Damn. Mikaela, what now?

Mikaela's POV

Tinitignan ko ng mabuti ang mga deduction na nagawa ko noong pumunta ako sa crime scene. I flipped through the pages and reread every sentence as if the name of the murderer would come out if I do. Narinig kong tumunog nanaman ang bell na nakasabit sa entrance door at saka napatingin doon. Nakakunot ang noo niya habang papunta sa lamesa ko at saka siya umupo.

"You were late, Angela. Fifteen minutes. Diba if you're a detective, you must always be on time? Baka dahil diyan sa pagkakalate mo, mawala pa yung kriminal sa kamay mo."

She only rolled her eyes on me. Pissed off 'to. Nung una akala ko parang tuta 'to. Mabait, mahinhin, at hindi nagmamaldita. But I see, she can't control emotions very well. "But I came here not as a detective, but as a person of interrogation," and.. well, dinidibdib niya rin ang mga sinasabi sa kanya na ayaw niya. "Why am I being interviewed?"

Napangiti nalang ako sa inasta niya. Kung hindi lang siya detective, baka naisip kong nagkikilos kriminal siya. Usually, people who deny and question so much have secrets to keep. This is what criminals usually do para pagtakpan ang mga nagawa nila. It's all about psychology. Pero meron naman ring iba na matatalino't magaling umarte. Nakakapanloko sila dahil magaling silang umarte.
