Falling through dry, heavy sand, unable to breathe is uncomfortable. I really don't recommend it. I can't move, I'm just slowly falling. I don't know how much longer I can hold my breath.

But within a few seconds, I fall into a hollowed out...cave, sort of. The walls are all sand, but it's all smoothed out, very smooth. That's strange, you would think it would look more rugged, natural. I turn around, and see that a long corridor goes off quite a ways. It's so dark down here, I have to feel my way around.

I here someone hit the ground to the side of me. "Hello?" I call out. No one answers. I walk over to where the noise came from, and trip over a limp body. I'm pretty sure it's Mindy. She's still alive, just passed out.

Slowly, the Doctor, Clara, that woman in charge (I still don't know her name), Louise, oh-well-Steve, and some other guy who I still don't know fall through the sand. Louise pulls out a flashlight and I can finally see what's going on. We're all full of sand, and it's freezing.

"What happened to Mindy?" Louise asks.

"She's fine, she's just unconscious," I say.

The Doctor gets up, and starts looking around, "Mindy said she saw whatever wants us. That means it probably knows where we are."

"Do you think that since she's unconscious it will block their signal to her?" I ask.

"Maybe, but I'm not going to sit around and wait to find out." The Doctor walks down the corridor. Oh-well-Steve and the woman in charge pick up Mindy, and we all follow behind the Doctor. We follow him for a few minutes until we come to a fork in the path.

"Which way do we go?" Clara asks.

"We should probably split up," the guy who I am still unsure of his name says.

"Good thinking George (yay look, another name I can add to the list), so you, you, you, and you go that way," she points to me, the Doctor, oh-well-Steve, and Louise, "George and I will take Mindy, and you...I guess you can just tag along with us." She glares at Clara, as if her pure presence in the room repulses her. "Oh and take these." She hands us each a small communicator, and before the Doctor can argue, we head off into separate directions.

"Checking to see if you can hear us, is this working?" The woman asks over the communicator after a few minutes.

"Yes ma'am, we can hear you loud and clear," Louise says, into the communicator.

"Okay, Mindy is waking up, but we're coming up to another fork in the road. Once Mindy wakes up, she and George are going to go down one path, I-"

"-What about me?" I hear Clara's voice cut in over the communicator.

"Oh...you. I guess, um, you'll...just have to stay with me," the woman's voice says.

"We'll take another two communicators so that we will all have contact," George's voice says, "We're going now."

"Wait, what?" The Doctor says, alarmed, "Mindy can't just go off on her own, those creatures have contact of her, they could be coming for her. That could put George in danger, too!"

"Doctor, I'm fine! I've got a gun if anyone tries anything," Mindy says over the communicator.

"It didn't do Mark any good, did it?" The Doctor says over the communicator, and then to himself he says, "They always think they're safe as long as they have a gun."

We walk in complete silence for a good fifteen minutes, only being interrupted by the sound of us stepping on the occasional twig. We then come up to another fork in the path.
