I found him in the study.
Dark and dreary. The first call didn't seem to reach him.
Standing in front of him. I reach for his book.
Warmth spread into my palm. I glance down.
I had grabbed his hand not his book.
He looks up at me.
A sharp glare. "What do you need?"
"Your Friends!"
He looks at me confused.
"The singing and crying at night. It needs to stop. I can't sleep!"
I stare at him and hope he gets the message.
"So...You want to sleep in my bed?" He smirks and as I let go of his hand.
He grabs it and pulls me closer.
My face flames and I shake it vigorously.
"Then what?"
"Tell them to stop."
"Fine."
His eyes stare into mine.
My once cold hands. Warmed by his bigger yet somewhat gentle hands.
He lets go and I leave.
Cheeks red and heart confused as I run out of the room.
