"Can you tell me about my mother?" I ask him.
I'm lying on the couch in Alexis's study.
I refused to go back to my room.
Tanaka sits down on a nearby seat.
"Alexandra was Alexis, and Vivi, his brother's nurse as a child and was his father, Kazrin's Fiancé"
I was shocked.
"My mother was supposed to marry the King of Hell?"
"Yes, but it was arranged. Kazrin and Alexandra had been childhood friends. She couldn't see him as anything more. Then she met your father and ran away"
"My father?"
"Yes. Many Devils weren't happy with her doing that."
"Is that why Raven wants to kill Alexis?"
"Maybe."
We continued to talk till I fell asleep to his tales of my mother.
I would have never believed such a thing could've happened before.
But now it's one of the things I have to believe in.
