Tanaka gets me out of the castle and into the carriage.
Many of the servants are nowhere to be seen.
When I ask.
"They are dead." Is the reply.
It seems to not be 5 minutes when a terrible gloom falls over my heart.
I urge him to stop the carriage. He asks why and I explain.
I sit on the step trying to figure out what this is.
Involuntary my tears spill over. Tanaka has a sad look in his eyes.
It's silent until the earth shakes and I see flames from the house.
Terror strikes.
"Tanaka is he ok?!" I'm almost yelling. The fear and worry evident in my voice.
"I don't know."
I shed a few more tears.
"But miss, there is a way you could save Alexis from this all."
"There is? Please tell me!"
He sighs. Wrinkles from many years gather around his eyes.
"You would need to turn him into a human."
