Warmth surrounded me. I felt safe.
Yet I felt a tingling sense of sadness, in the corner of my memory.

Quiet singing, I could hear it faintly.

It's the one father said mother would sing to me.
I reached out to grab it.
Only to have it slip through my fingers and fade away.
The light was blooming.
I was waking up.
